Hey, if you're planning to go to Margarita, you have to hear this! Let me tell you about my visit to Waterland in Pampatar. Seriously, it's one of those places that leaves you with memories that will last a lifetime.
From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is pure fun. But, let's be honest, I went with a clear mission: the dolphins! And I'll tell you something... it exceeded all my expectations.
I paid for the experience of swimming with them, and I can't even begin to describe the feeling. Getting into that pool and having these incredible animals swimming next to you, being able to touch them, getting a “kiss” or a push from them... it's pure magic! They look so well cared for, and the connection they have with their trainers is evident. It's a super respectful and exciting experience.
But Waterland is not just that. The park itself is also a great place to visit. It has that classic Caribbean water park vibe. You know? It's not a park that opened yesterday, it has a history, but that's exactly what I liked about it.
And for those wondering about the facilities, I thought they were great. The slides are super fun, I went down them a bunch of times! The pools are clean, the water is delicious, and there are plenty of shaded areas and chairs to relax for a while. Everything works, which is what matters. You can tell they put a lot of care into keeping it operational and safe for everyone to enjoy.
In short, I had a 10/10 day. I started with the adrenaline rush of the slides and ended with the excitement of fulfilling my dream of swimming with dolphins. If you go to the island, don't hesitate to add Waterland to your list!
