Estos días han sido muy duros para mi por diversas razones; desde que retomé los estudios después de 5 años de ausencia, solo me he dedicado a conectarme con la actitud de un estudiante, leyendo, investigando, realizando asignaciones, y esto me ha hecho perderme un poco de otras actividades personales que ya pertenecían a mi rutina diaria y de las que me sentía muy orgullosa de haber alcanzado.
Sin embargo para nada siento que el haber vuelto a los estudios haya sido un error, al contrario, ha sido una gran bendición de Dios el tener algo a lo que dedicarme con mucha pasión y esfuerzo. A pesar de los días duros que pasé pensando que estudiar ya no es una opción para mi, el día de ayer, como a una bofetada a esos pensamientos intrusivos, me hizo entender en definitiva que no estoy haciendo nada malo por haber elegido esta carrera (Artes visuales), y querer terminarla a como dé lugar.
En la universidad ya estamos por cerrar semestre, eso nos invita a realizar exposiciones de los últimos proyectos realizados en cada materia y ayer fue la oportunidad de Serigrafía, una materia que me hizo activar de nuevo la creatividad en mí que ya creía perdida.
Mi proyecto para esta materia se trató de generarle una imagen o un logo que pudiera darle una identidad a mi marca personal, para aprovechar además las distintas técnicas de la serigrafía en los productos que podré ofrecer en el futuro, es así como logré realizar varios diseños que involucran las nubes, el sol, y una abeja, que a mi parecer representan con exactitud el sentido que quiero alcanzar con mi marca.
Si, estoy bastante orgullosa, es por eso que no dude en llevarme una las franelas estampadas con mi diseño para la inauguración de la exposición de fin de curso, además realizarme un maquillaje temático, que no habría capaz de hacerme si hubiera sido un día común.
Para mi sorpresa, la mayoría de mis compañeros también tuvieron el mismo pensamiento y fue hermoso ver como lucimos orgullosos de nuestro trabajo.
También alcancé a ver la creatividad desbordada de la otra sección y la pulcritud en sus diseños, fue algo increíble de admirar y de compartir.
Estoy demasiado contenta y con menos inseguridad de continuar por este camino tan ilustre que he escogido. seguiré con las nubes en la mirada y la creatividad puesta hasta alcanzar el objetivo.
Y si, nuestro profesor es ese joven chino de 80 y pico de años pero con una actitud tan atrevida como si tuviera 20 años que ven allí. Que me hizo sacar canas verdes pero de quien aprendimos un montón también.

These days have been very hard for me for several reasons; since I resumed my studies after 5 years of absence, I have only dedicated myself to connect with the attitude of a student, reading, researching, doing assignments, and this has made me miss a little of other personal activities that already belonged to my daily routine and of which I felt very proud to have achieved.
However, I don't feel that going back to studies was a mistake at all, on the contrary, it has been a great blessing from God to have something to dedicate myself to with a lot of passion and effort. Despite the hard days I spent thinking that studying is no longer an option for me, yesterday, like a slap in the face to those intrusive thoughts, made me understand that I am not doing anything wrong for having chosen this career (Visual Arts), and wanting to finish it no matter what.
At the university we are about to close the semester, that invites us to make exhibitions of the last projects done in each subject and yesterday was the opportunity to Serigraphy, a subject that made me activate again the creativity in me that I thought I had lost.
My project for this subject was to generate an image or a logo that could give an identity to my personal brand, to also take advantage of the different techniques of screen printing on the products that I can offer in the future, that is how I managed to make several designs involving clouds, the sun, and a bee, which in my opinion accurately represent the meaning I want to achieve with my brand.
Yes, I'm quite proud, that's why I didn't hesitate to wear one of the t-shirts printed with my design for the opening of the end of the school year exhibition, and also to have a thematic make-up, which I wouldn't have been able to do if it had been an ordinary day.
To my surprise, most of my colleagues also had the same thought and it was beautiful to see how proud we were of our work.
I also got to see the overflowing creativity of the other section and the neatness in their designs, it was something incredible to admire and to share.
And yes, our teacher is that young Chinese man in his 80s but with an attitude as bold as if he were 20 years old that you see there. Who made me get green hair but from whom we learned a lot too.
I am too happy and less insecure to continue on this illustrious path that I have chosen. I will continue with clouds in my eyes and creativity in my mind until I reach my goal.
