I am very excited today to share with you my most recent illustration.
I am a Visual Arts student and I am currently in the final submission period. The work has been arduous, and for a long time, I have wanted to bring all the works from my learning process to this community, but, unfortunately, I tend to focus so much on my labor that I forget to keep a record of each illustration.
That is why today I am satisfied with having been able to carry out my desire and save the evolution of my latest project in the subject of Printing Systems. And not only that, but I also loved the final result, something that rarely happens to me, since I am rarely satisfied with what I do.

For this project, I have taken a song as a reference. In fact, music has been my central theme of work throughout the entire semester; this would be the third song I work with. It is curious that my interest leans towards music, towards wanting to bring sounds into an image, so that melodies can be 'listened to with the eyes'. Is that possible?
For this work, I focused on searching for the sensations that its musical variations generate in people, especially in my own. It was a wonderful discovery. In this song, I was able to discover the nostalgic, the melancholic, and even more, the light. It conveyed a sense of tranquility and, at the same time, something poetic in remembering beautiful moments from the past, like that urgency to experience something similar in the present; but with the acceptance that, if it is not like that, it does not matter: everything will be fine with what is being experienced now.

These are just first sketches for the final technique we will be learning. Once the entire project is completed, I will surely be back here again showing you the final result.
I look forward to your comments, see you soon!
Here, Vero González.
