That day, with @outlinez and our friends from the cycling group, we cycled to the Black Sea town of Sozopol, with our final destination being the chapel of St. Marina.
Only one of us had visited it and for everyone else the place was unknown, so with great excitement we set off south.
On the cycle path we had a rescue operation, with an 8-year-old child who had gotten lost. He had lost his parents while cycling and decided to go home alone, but got confused and wandered away from the town. Fortunately, when we met him on the cycle path and after we found out what the situation was, we called his parents on the phone (the child knew his mother's phone number). They had already called the police and the patrol cars were already looking for him. After explaining his location, we waited for the police officers on duty and and we sent him to his parents.
And so we continued on our route.
We entered the town of Chernomorets, where the season was already over, the shops closed, the streets deserted.
Cars with caravans were leaving the Black Sea coast.
We entered the town of Sozopol and shopped for various things, then took a dirt road to the chapel of St. Marina.
The place where the chapel was built is magnificent. It is surrounded by green vegetation, and the temple itself, which is relatively new, is built next to a large, centuries-old tree. A large meadow spreads out on its right side.
The chapel is an Orthodox church and is a small and cozy building. It is dedicated to Saint Marina, the patron saint of the town of Sozopol.
Near it there is a large well and a fountain from which water barely flowed.
There are several covered gazebos, huge wooden tables and a fireplace.

We sat at one of the tables with wooden benches and had a nice rest for a while.
The ride back was no less interesting.
We met friends who had come to meet us and ride together. On the way we saw groups of children who were also riding bicycles and were happy to see us. We rode until the sun started to set. It was such a beautiful Sunday!
Thank you for stopping by!
