It's been many years since I looked up any info on these coins, but it keeps getting more interesting. This time I was looking up the mintage on this 2012 round and found out about more error coins.
Looks like some toning starting around the edge of this one too! Man, these capsules are scratched to shit. I need to pick up some new ones. Here is what I found on the SilverStackers website about the different error versions of this coin.
Silver Bullet Silver Shield Mintage
Debt and Death 53,427 Hard Strike- (All Arrowheads in detail) 20 Soft Strike (Shallow strike Arrowheads flat) 100 SBS-s (- the "s" on problems) oiled est? 300 SBS-s (- the "s" on problems) clean est? 560 Regular oiled 3,000 Regular/Proof 41,457 BU both sides Est? 4,000 Wide Reed 3,900
This side is even more scratched up than the other. Luckily the coin is just fine but I was too lazy to crack it open for a picture.
That's all the shiny for today. More to come tomorrow! Silver prices are getting a nice little price boost and might even crack the $25 range. Been almost a year since we've seen those prices.
