Fíjense esta no me la sabia, que los ríos tengan un día especial para ellos, a nivel mundial, porque en todo el mundo hay ríos, unos muy grandes como otros pequeños, son fuentes renovables, que se crean en la naturaleza.
La fecha en si o este año cae el 28 de septiembre, porque en realidad es el cuarto domingo del mes que se celebra.
Los ríos nos dan muchos beneficios, ya que la mayoría de la población necesitamos agua, la cual proviene de los ríos, después de un proceso de potabilizan, para poder consumirla.
Pero también somos culpables de no cuidar bien de ellos, de lanzar basuras, derramar líquidos que los contaminan, haciendo que las especies marinas que viven como los peces mueran.
En mi ciudad natal Ciudad Bolivar, tenemos la dicha de tener uno de los ríos mas importantes de Venezuela y el principal de mi ciudad como lo es el RIO ORINOCO, que viene desde otro lugar, porque es una corriente que viene, pasa y sigue, para apreciar este rio en toda su maravilla, vamos al Paseo Orinoco llamado así por el rio.
Durante el mes de febrero o marzo como el rio esta bajo se lleva a cabo un evento deportivo de natación a aguas abiertas siendo el rio Orinoco que recibe muchos nadadores.
Este lugar se llama La Cocuyera que es una playa, desde ahí se da inicio a la actividad, el rio esta sumamente bajo, increíble.
También es el medio de transporte para las lanchas que vienen del otro lado del rio, de Ciudad Orinoco, antes llamado Soledad, que pertenece al Estado Anzoátegui, que pareciera mas del Estado Bolívar.
En la actualidad el rio esta crecido, siendo una gran atracción en la ciudad, donde vienen todos los habitantes a ver la imponente crecida, que en algunas partes se ha desbordado, lo que ha sido un estado de peligro y alerta, que esta cerrado el Paseo Orinoco, por precaución.
Días antes de que esto pasara, fuimos a ver el rio, la pesca, es algo tan bonito, en el año 2018, también hubo crecida, pero no fuimos, así que esta vez si, porque que es algo que no sucede siempre, desde la del 2018, habían pasado 7 años, pero según quienes llevan los datos del mismo ya esta empezando a bajar, esto sucede mas que todo en época de invierno.
