I have watched a lot of vampire movies, some of them are scary while some are not. If my best friend was vampire, how would I feel? I will have a mixed feeling about everything, ranging from shock to fear to surprise, everything all at once.
I'll want to know more about her. I can't and won't cut her off completely because we have been friends since childhood, she didn't hurt me while we growing up, she didn't hurt anyone we love and I know she won't start now.
Instead of cutting her off completely, I would want to understand more about her, I would ask the necessary questions such as how she survives and if she drinks human blood just to live. If course I have to know this to know how safe I am when I'm with her, but I don't think this completely cuts it because if she didn't hurt me since then why start now. I believe that before I can judge her I have to know her fully.
- Would I tell anyone about her?
Ofcourse I won't, it's not in my place to tell anyone about her especially when I know she might be hurt when other people find out about her. If she trusted me enough to let me that deep truth then I'll respect her and keep it to myself and even take it to my grave.
My feelings might change a bit and this is normal, I'll be a little more careful when I'm with her or around her because of fear. But I know with time, I will learn to accept her fully just as I have always done. I would also try to help her stay on the right path, if there is any danger of she loosing control, because by now I would have known more about her and how to keep her in check just incase.
We are all different and there are parts of ourselves that people might not understand. Her being a vampire doesn't change the fact that she is my best friend, I won't throw away years of friendship because of what she is.
