How stress can help us discover our strength

Hey guys welcome to my blog. On this week's contest, I will responding to the prompt question which is; is it possible to avoid stress? Anything worth doing usually comes with one form of stress or the other, so if we choose to avoid anything that would stress us, are we going to ever get anything done? How then do we get the best out of life?

There are a lot of things that can not be avoided in this life no matter how much you try to avoid those things and one of them is stress. Stress is something we all pass through at one point in life or the next. Even kids pass through stress.

Stress can come from work, school or even when we want to make important decisions. Stress can not be avoided, but we can learn how to manage it and not let it take control of our lives. Anything worth doing at all comes with stress.

Let us take students for example, they are preparing for exams or tests. They stay up late at night, no one wants to fail so they are pressured to do well, even fear of failing, all these can cause stress. If we notice, we will see that once the test or exam is over the students feel relieved, they feel less stressed. Also parents who work hard to provide for their families, they face traffic, long hours at work, challenges and all but they keep going because the result is worth is.

If we say we want to avoid anything that will stress us, I don't think we can achieve anything meaningful. Just imagine you say you won't work because it's stressful. I think growth comes from challenges and most challenges comes with stress. It is through those stressful times that we know how strong we are.

The key to stress is learning how to manage it and not avoiding it. We can manage stress by sleeping when we know our body needs it, taking a break, talking to loved ones and doing things we enjoy to help reduce tension. If we learn to handle stress the right way we can become stronger, and even be more confident.

Having a life without stress simply means having a life without growth. Everyone who is succe9or who wants to be successful has to face one challenge or the other. The joy of success often comes after going through difficult times, it's just the same way that hold has to go through fire before it can shine. So instead of running from stress, we should grow with it, let it shape us and also learn from it.

All I am basically trying to say is that, it is not possible to avoid stress no matter how one tries, what matters is how we deal with it. We have to focus on taking care of ourselves, balancing our lives and finding peace even in difficult times. Stress is not good but it reminds us to keep trying and pushing forward. link
