Hello Hivers!
Today I want to share with you one of my favorite places I've visited! This is Petra or Al Batra (ٱلْبَتْرَاء) in Jordan. Petra,is a magical place with a great history, back in time but also an incredible energy as a place!
Our adventure starts somewhere at the hotel, where we tried this incredibly filling breakfast, which to be honest could have been lunch! We avoided eating a lot, however, since the day was hiking!

We preferred to stay in the village of Shobak, and approach the area from here! The hotels were slightly more economical than the ones in the village of Wadi Musa which is closer to the monument!

During the route, we noticed this building above, which piqued our interest in Shobak!

The journey was about half an hour, we quickly bought our tickets, which cost about 70 dollars per person, and headed for Petra!

We came across two information boards about the terrain and the available routes. As you can see there are several options for all difficulty levels. We chose the easiest one, not because we were afraid of fatigue, but because it is the most popular

And off we go! Landscape is so exotic and different that despite the high temperature and the complete lack of humidity, I feel completely fresh and full of energy

This endless energy, did not last long. After a few meters, the shadow of the tree above, was very seductive!

I don't want to complain, but I guess I wasn't quite ready for desert conditions! I was about to beg some passers-by with horses to pick me up. Or hijack that donkey

After a while we started to approach the first low rock formations! Their desert has softened and their appearance is very special

These young boys confirmed to us that we are close and that the direction we are following is the right one!

Various columns and ruins from the Hellenistic and Roman era began to exist left and right

And after a lot of impatience and without really understanding it, we found ourselves in the ravine between two huge rock formations! Really the shades and the game with the shadows, give amazing photos

just a few steps before the Petra monument...

The point is incredibly shocking, both from the point of view , as well as from the point of view of synostism!

Lots of people and camels! With all of them, chasing the shade since the sun was starting to get too bright

We aimed and lifted higher to get as many good shots as possible, as a large group of visitors had just left so my job would be very easy! The panoramic view was unique!

Men and donkeys, hunt for a place in the shade!

And finally, allow me to show you my favorite photos from my visit to Petra! I think they are by far the most artistic!

These two are by far the most ideal for my social media profile! Haha!
I hope you enjoyed my photos and descriptions! I look forward to seeing you in the comments! Kisses!
