The earth is made by God perfectly. It is not like this before. First of all, I want to invite your attention to what happened during the time of Noah. It was accepted by almost all believers of the Bible that it is a global flood. A global flood not a local flood. A flood can also be called a natural disaster. The flood that happened then is not a local one, because a local flood can be caused by breaking of a dam. Just like what happened sometime ago in a particular place where a dam had been broken, and a whole village was washed up by the dam which broke. It cannot be called a natural disaster, it can be called a man-made disaster.
Now, if it is a local flood during the time of Noah, when there are no dams yet that were erected, even if it is a local flood, it is not a man-made disaster but natural disasters.
But what is my understanding, our understanding of such a disaster? You see in the book of Genesis 7:11, in order to sustain the flood that will eliminate all flesh, save those that are in the ark. According to the Bible, this is what we now call as the tectonic plates of the earth. They are broken. And whenever these tectonic plates are moving, it may cause earthquakes. That is what science now understands.
But let us go in history, when the fountain of the great deep were broken up, the aqueous layer of the earth was broken, and water 💦 coming from deep down below to the surface of the earth. There is rain coming from heaven, forty days and forty nights, that sustains the greatest flood ever recorded in human history that killed all people, saved Noah in the ark and his family.
The earth is made by God perfectly. Everything that God has made is very good, in perfect condition. The earth is not meant to be shaken by earthquakes. But why are there earthquakes now? Why are there tsunamis? Why are there natural disasters that affect humanity as a whole? It is insinuated by man's transgressions.
