Farming is an essential part of human survival; in fact, it produces the fuel that keeps humanity from going into extinction, and that's why every nation always encourages farming, and that's not even to force the boost radio food production gives to a nation's economy. Understandably, family isn't easy to indulge in; it can be very stressful. Thankfully, we've evolved as humans, and new technologies are being introduced on a daily basis, which leads us to mechanized farming, a style of farming that goes beyond the traditional, making farming more machine-based, and that makes it easier, faster, and more productive.

Unfortunately for our nation, a lot of people neglect farming because they are chasing after white-collar jobs, and this brings about a shortage of food production and an increase in the price of food items due to higher demand with lower production. Ideally everyone ought to, in one way or another, participate in farming, even if it's on a smaller scale, for instance, having a garden and planting different varieties of food items to help curb the absolute dependency on buying everything you need when it comes to food.
I for one participate in farming, and I can tell you for a fact that it's not an easy task at all, but the good thing is that there's joy in producing your own food and bigger joy in simply walking into your garden to harvest the few food items you need. That way you're even promoting healthy habits, because you eat fresh food that isn't enhanced by different chemicals like you'll see in the market. I've been into farming since I was little, and I'm still into it today. If I were able to afford mechanized farming, I'd jump on it because it'll make my work easier.

Talking about if mechanized farming has its advantages and disadvantages, that's absolutely correct. I mean, who doesn't have both? And below I'll be stating some of their advantages and disadvantages.
On the advantage, we've increased productivity, since the machine will work efficiently and produce more; it also saves time and energy, because you will produce more in less time and won't consume much energy like you would when it's done manually. It also boosts food supply and reduces the value of food items in the market. Overall, it'll encourage many more people to go into large-scale farming, which brings about more production and enhances the country's economy through food exportation.
Talking about its disadvantages, some of them are damage to the soil through heavy machinery tilling the ground, and it also brings about new challenges, like maintenance challenges for the machine. That's not forgetting that these machines are quite expensive. It'll also bring about unemployment, because fewer people will be needed for manual labor on the farm. Most of all is the fuel consumption and pollution such machines will inflict on our atmosphere.

Having or creating an app that connects farmers to consumers will be awesome and would make selling our products earlier. It'll also create some jobs, like delivery men who would transport goods from the farm down to the residents of the consumers, just like we've seen with the Jumia app. If I can create such an app, I guess I'll name it Farm2Table, because it literally means that: connecting farm produce to your table at home effortlessly without the need to visit the market or bargain with middlemenlike traders who buy from producers and add their own gain to the price.
