It's been a while since I've been here with a review of the channels where I watch my favorite videos. However, I recently found a channel that has brought me several smiles and laughs, so I thought it would be appropriate to share it with all of you. It's a video reaction channel, usually to very famous series and movies, or ones that have somehow become iconic. But it's not just any reaction channel. The protagonist here is Guadalupe, a very sweet old woman with a very defined personality who fills the screen with her presence. Despite being in her nineties, she doesn't seem like it because her personality is actually quite jovial. >Hace mucho tiempo que yo no pasaba por aquí con alguna review de canales donde veo mis videos favoritos, sin embargo recientemente encontré un canal que me ha sacado varias sonrisas y risas, así que me pareció que lo más apropiado era compartirlo con todos ustedes. Se trata de un canal de video reacciones, por lo general a series y películas muy famosas, o que de alguna manera se han vuelto un ícono, pero no es cualquier canal sobre reacciones, la protagonista aquí es Guadalupe, una anciana muy tierna con una personalidad muy definida que llena la pantalla con su presencia, y a pesar de que tiene ya unos noventa y tantos años, no lo parece porque de verdad que su personalidad es bastante jovial.
The reason for the curious stage name "Grandmother of Dragons" is because she loves dragons, it's her favorite mythological animal, and every time she sees one in a series or movie she gets very happy, like when she watched the series Game of Throne or House of Dragons. But what is unique and wonderful about this channel is the way Guadaluope reacts to what she sees on screen, her comments are very organic, without poses or falsehoods, when watching this channel you feel like watching television with your grandmother or mother, and what I find most original and funny is that when she can't remember the name of a specific character, she simply invents one. She always has a smile to offer her audience, a mischief and a charm (as Andalusians like her would say) that makes this channel unique, so after seeing her reactions you won't want to watch any other channel.
La razón del curioso nombre artístico "Abuela de Dragones" es porque ella ama los dragones, es su animal mitológico favorito, y cada vez que ve uno en alguna serie o película se pone muy contenta, como cuando vio la serie Game of Throne o House of Dragons. Pero lo particular y maravilloso de este canal es la manera de Guadaluope de reaccionar a lo que ve en pantalla, sus comentarios son muy orgánicos, sin poses ni falsedades, al mirar este canal te sientes como mirando la televisión con tu abuela o madre, y lo que me parece más original y gracioso es que cuando ella no recuerda el nombre de algún personaje en específico, simplemente le inventa alguno. Ella tiene siempre una sonrisa para brindar a su público, una picardía y un salero (como dirían los andaluces como ella) que hace que este canal sea único, por lo tanto después de ver sus reacciones ya no quieres ver otro canal.
The sweetest thing of all is that she obviously doesn't manage the channel alone; rather, her granddaughters help her with this, both in promoting and managing her channel and in coordinating events to which she's been invited. It's clear she's a much-loved, respected, and admired person. Oh, and something I recently learned about her is that she was the winner of one of the Master Chef contests in Spain.
Lo más tierno de todo es que obviamente ella no gestiona el canal por su cuenta, sino que son sus nietas la que la ayudan con esto, tanto en la promoción y gestión de su canal como en la coordinación de eventos a los que ha sido invitada, por lo tanto se nota que es una persona muy querida, respetada y admirada. Ahh y una cosa que me enteré recientemente sobre ella es que fue la ganadora de una de las ediciones de Master Chef en España.
So that you can prove what I'm saying, I'll leave you here one of this lady's videos, so you can see all the energy she radiates, and the way she enjoys each series or movie, it's as if she were another character, she lives each scene with a childish emotion, so it's very tender to see, I repeat, as if you were watching the movie next to her, she makes you feel like part of her family, so all that's missing is the popcorn to share.
Para que ustedes puedan comprobar lo que digo les dejaré por aquí uno de los videos de esta dama, para que puedan ver toda la energía que ella irradia, y la manera en que ella disfruta de cada serie o película, es como si ella fuese un personaje más, vive cada escena con una emoción pueril, así que resulta muy tierno de ver, repito, como si estuvieses mirando la película a su lado, te hace sentir como parte de su familia, así que solo faltan las palomitas de maíz para compartir.
