It's been a while since I've found something to share with you here on TBT Thursdays, as I think I've shared everything already here or in other Hive communities, however yesterday I found these photos that immediately brought me back to the moment. It was one of my wife's family's parties, we were celebrating the 80th birthday of one of my in-laws, husband of my wife's older sister. He was someone we all loved very much and unfortunately he died a year ago, but in life he was a very charismatic person who was contagious with his smile, he came from the plains and that's why in his parties you could hear typical Venezuelan music from the plains, also his grandson plays the harp very skillfully and we all enjoyed watching him play. The party was a lot of fun and people came from all over. It's a pity that I don't have so many pictures of that day, only a couple of them that my daughters took, my nephews were also taking pictures that day and we had a great time. In the end it is these memories that bring us comfort and peace. >Hace tiempo que no encontraba algo para compartir con ustedes aquí en los jueves de TBT, pues creo que todo lo he compartido ya aquí o en otras comunidades de Hive, sin embargo ayer encontré estas fotos que me trasladaron inmediatamente al momento. Se trata de una de las fiestas de la familia de mi esposa, estábamos celebrando el cumpleaños número 80 de uno de mis concuñados, esposo de la hermana mayor de mi esposa. Él era alguien a quien todos quisimos mucho y lamentablemente murió hace un año, pero en vida fue una persona muy carismática que a todos contagiaba con su sonrisa, venía del llano y por eso en sus fiestas mayormente se oía música llanera, típica venezolana, además su nieto toca el arpa de forma muy hábil y a todos nos agrada verlo tocar. La fiesta estuvo muy divertida y fue gente de todas partes. Es una lástima que yo no tenga tantas fotos de ese día, solo un par de ellas que sí tomaron mis hijas, mis sobrinos también andaban tomando fotos ese día y la pasamos muy bien. Al final son estos recuerdos los que nos reconfortan y nos traen paz.
Family is the basis of everything, as the saying goes and it is true because in those difficult moments, like last year when we lost my brother-in-law we could remember moments like this to give us support, family unity, strength, laughter, music, joy, all that is food for the soul and heart. Thank you very much for letting me be part of these beautiful moments of TBT.
La familia es la base de todo, como dice el refrán y es verdad porque en esos momentos difíciles, como el año pasado cuando perdimos a mi concuñado pudimos recordar los momentos como este para darnos apoyo, la unión familiar, la solidez, las risas, la música, la alegría, todo eso es alimento para el alma y el corazón. Muchas gracias por dejarme formar parte de estos tan hermosos momentos del TBT.
