I had offered myself in full On the plate of society But some part of my existence Wallowed up
My self-respect quietly avoided my eyes That is why it could not be Ended completely Even now my heart beats Against any injustice
I cannot accept those rules Where human rights depend on discrimination I break out of my shell and come out Slowly blowing the conch shell and moving higher and higher
With both my arms I embrace the limitless sky I deny all the mysteries of the horizon With the expansion of my vision I sweep away all the obstacles to my personality growth
In the flow of my thoughts I get agitated, get disturbed For a moment I become despaired The sound of the world’s cry for help reaches within me
I laugh unstoppably for a long time Slowly…. My momentary war ends At the threshold of limits I find myself very helpless At every stage of my life I just gaze without blinking At that self-respect Which had swallowed Some piece of my existence Silently, my eyes remain aloof...
