El protagonismo de la imagen de portada sin desprestigiar el contenido textual | Porque es importante mantener la flexibilidad creativa [ES/EN]

¿Alguna vez te has preguntado qué impacto tendría en tus publicaciones incluir una imagen de portada realmente alucinante? Seguramente en más de una oportunidad esa ha sido una de tus dudas, pero también nos preocupábamos por que parte de la atención caiga sobre el texto que hemos escrito, al que le hemos dedicado buena parte de nuestro tiempo. >Have you ever wondered what impact including a truly stunning cover image would have on your publications? He visto usuarios que simplemente colocan una imagen sin mucho trabajo, pero que todo recae en la importancia que el texto transmite, por sus pensamientos y forma de razonar, que justamente es lo que nos hace únicos, y que a su vez, es algo que se valora mucho en la creación de contenido original. También he visto que muchos apoyan su contenido con imágenes propias, lo que supuestamente otorga un valor extra. Supongo que éste último punto tiene que ver con qué nicho exploremos y profundicemos, de manera tal que si el nicho acompaña, añadir imágenes propias será el aliciente ideal. En mi caso utilizo imágenes propias cuando la situación lo amerite, como por ejemplo una salida a un lugar, o hablar sobre un dispositivo tecnológico que he adquirido y tengo a mano. Pero no veo que sea un error añadir imágenes libres de derecho de autor, ya que su principal uso está en lograr que el contenido sea visualmente atractivo. En ambos casos, el uso de Canva nos dará ese toque estilístico que necesitamos implementar; ahora apoyado con el uso de la IA si queremos profundizar en aquello que la imaginación puede crear. En este sentido, la imaginación libera la capacidad de ser creativo usando herramientas de IA. >We have probably seen many profiles to find the one that best suits our personality. In my case, I use my own images when the situation warrants it, such as when going out to a place or talking about a technological device that I have purchased and have on hand. But I don't see it as a mistake to add royalty-free images, as their main use is to make the content visually appealing. In both cases, using Canva will give us the stylistic touch we need to implement, now supported by the use of AI if we want to delve deeper into what the imagination can create. Este añadido aumentó el abanico de posibilidades, no solo por poder crear nuevas escenas a partir de una o varias imágenes, sino que la imagen principal no protagoniza un cambio. Por esa razón es que uno puede añadirle efectos especiales a una imagen, sin que la de trasfondo (la original) se vea comprometida. De hecho, el banner que estoy utilizando ahora al final de la publicación, tiene un efecto añadido por esta IA, que no altera las letras ni la tipografía, tampoco el logo. Entonces, ¿qué conviene utilizar? A mi pensar, eso depende de ti y qué enfoque lograr. Por poner un ejemplo, si nuestro contenido es informativo, como un artículo periodístico o de opinión, una imagen portada que tenga relación con el tema tratado es suficiente, ya que se utiliza a modo ilustrativo, o al menos, ese es su fin. Si es algo más personal, como una experiencia, probablemente el lector esté mucho más llamado por lo gráfico, y el contenido textual podría complementar lo que el usuario ve (algo común en Liketu, por ejemplo, donde se le da más prioridad a la fotografía). Aún así, podemos tomar lo mejor de ambos casos, que es algo que he hecho algunas veces, combinando imágenes libres de derechos de autor (una imagen de fondo), sumándole fotografías propias, lo que resulta en algo que definitivamente se convierte en llamativo, y que genera una buena presentación. Lo importante es que la imagen principal sea vistosa, y si no lo es del todo, que sirva de introducción directa al tema que evaluaremos. En temáticas crypto, es probable que esa imagen sea la de una moneda de Bitcoin u otra crypto, o tal vez un gráfico alcista o bajista, dependiendo de qué tipo de presión se genere en el mercado global de las criptomonedas. If it is something more personal, such as an experience, the reader will probably be much more drawn to the graphic, and the textual content could complement what the user sees (something common on Liketu, for example, where photography is given more priority). Even so, we can take the best of both worlds, which is something I have done a few times, combining royalty-free images (a background image) with my own photographs, resulting in something that is definitely eye-catching and makes for a good presentation. > >The important thing is that the main image is eye-catching, and if it is not entirely so, that it serves as a direct introduction to the topic we will be evaluating. In crypto topics, that image is likely to be a Bitcoin or other crypto coin, or perhaps a bullish or bearish chart, depending on the type of pressure being generated in the global cryptocurrency market. Las imágenes a veces se llevan los aplausos cuando en realidad es el texto el que queremos resaltar. En algunos front-end podemos hacer uso de una descripción corta a modo de introducción. Lo ideal sería escribir un breve resumen sobre ello, aunque no sé si esté o no penado que la IA haga ese resumen. Es decir, esa descripción no se monetiza, sino que es una forma de visualizar de qué trata la publicación. Si es algo que se puede hacer, probablemente utilizaría la IA (sea el modelo que fuere) para pasarle el contenido que he escrito y cree un resumen de todo el texto en un tamaño de hasta 120 caracteres (PeakD tiene esta función, pero está habilitada después de haber publicado). También serviría para cuando tengamos que promocionar contenido en Discord. Sería una forma sencilla de resumir contenido sin tener que leer por completo qué hemos escrito, y qué partes resultan de interés y relevancia. Probablemente sea algo que vaya a preguntar si es válido o no, pero la idea está. En definitiva, las imágenes de portada resultan alucinantes cuando más nos esmeramos en ellas. Canva es ideal para incluir tipografías impactantes, que serán apoyadas sobre las imágenes de stock, o bien, fotografías propias. Con el añadido o no de efectos por IA, con el uso de Nano Banana si lo que tenemos en mente no aparece en nuestra búsqueda. Eso sí, no olvides nunca citar el uso de las herramientas, fuentes de imágenes, y modelos de IA utilizados si la situación lo amerita (como una traducción a partir de un texto propio). >And since we're talking about prominence, images sometimes get all the applause when it's actually the text we want to highlight. In some front-ends, we can use a short description as an introduction. Ideally, we would write a brief summary about it, although I don't know if it's acceptable for AI to do that summary. In other words, that description is not monetized, but rather a way to visualize what the publication is about. If it's something that can be done, I would probably use AI (whatever model it may be) to pass on the content I've written and create a summary of the entire text in up to 120 characters (PeakD has this feature, but it is enabled after publication). It would also be useful when we need to promote content on Discord. It would be an easy way to summarize content without having to read everything we've written to see which parts are interesting and relevant. I'll probably ask whether or not this is valid, but that's the idea. > >Ultimately, cover images turn out amazing when we put the most effort into them. Canva is ideal for including striking fonts, which will be supported by stock images or your own photographs. With or without the addition of AI effects, using Nano Banana if what we have in mind does not appear in our search. Of course, never forget to cite the use of tools, image sources, and AI models used if the situation warrants it (such as a translation from your own text).
