The Search For My Outfit in Hosting the Graduation Ceremony

 It's already summer in Philippines. Summer season is what other countries most likely wanted of. But for us Filipinos,q this could be the most unwanted season we could ever have. Most of us may or may not in our homes. Some will go to the beach and enjoy swimming, diving, skating or surfing. While others will go to fully air conditioned malls inorder to feel cold. This hot climate we are experiencing caused everyone to a sudden rise in blood pressure which may lead to a heat stroke. People with high blood pressure are advised to stay in their homes or under the shades of big trees and always drink plenty of water. And so much grateful here to our God for giving us good health everyday. On this part let me share with you my experience in searching my dress.  It was a week before our closing day, when our principal announced to have a color motif on our outfit. The color that we had unanimously agreed was the shades of brown. One super hot day and that was Saturday, when I started searching my dress. I and my husband Ranel with baby Reina went to BOGO City. I told my husband to shop first at Gaisano Mall thinking that it's cold there. When we entered, the hot atmosphere we felt was not so bad after all and so we ignored it and continued our search. Unluckily, we didn't find any brown dress that fits me. So we left Gaisano thinking that if I could not find a brand new one, well of course I have my second option. The extreme heat seemed so wild and disgusting especially when you are outside of the building. So we hurriedly transferred to J and L mall. Since it's almost lunch time, I told my husband to stay in the car with baby Reina so that I can move quickly to the stuff that I am searching. But still, I went back with nothing. I didn't give up. While on our way to BOGO public market, I happened to see a golden brown dress hanged in an ***Ukay Ukay*** store located between Supermetro and Mercury Drugstore. I asked my husband if we could go back on our way to check the dress I saw. Thanks to my ever supportive husband and immediately he made a U-turn-drive. When the car stopped, I immediately moved out and asked the boy seller, "How much is that dress?" He quickly replied, "Php.260.00, Ma'am". I yelled, "What! So very expensive! It's just a used clothing. Can I have your last price? He replied, "Php.250.00." Still very expensive for me. I asked the seller to lower the price into Php.200.00. At first he declined, but when the girl seller asked the boy seller to buy something for their lunch, I grabbed the opportunity, when I told her. "Okey! We'll find another one from other store, but she ran after us and so I got it for only Php.200.00.  And the most awaited day has come, the closing exercises in our school was scheduled last April 14, 2025. And since I was the master of ceremony for the Graduation, I went earlier before the program started. I checked my script and edited some changes. I also checked the microphone if it's good and ready for use.  At exactly 9:05 a.m. the program started with the presence of our Public Schools District Supervisor and company, School Administrators from other schools, Municipal officials representative, Barangay officials, PTA officials, parents and other visitors. Indeed, it was very successful. Though our preparations was very tiresome yet the feeling was very overwhelming. That is why, one of my statements during graduation was this," Though our manpower is limited, yet our energy is unlimited!. Our stage decoration designing lasted for a day. Teamwork and perseverance are our keys inorder to finish another school year. Congratulations to all of us and more work to accomplish in the next school year.
