Today marks the 120th year of Philippine Independence. 120 years have passed, where have we reached as a nation? as Filipino? and as a country? Does freedom ought to be celebrated the way it should be? What do we really mean by independence in the modern day where corruption, politics and power still hold the real essence of freedom on bars! Leaving majority of our fellow countrymen in dire situation.
Keeping my hopes high that one day, wishing it will be in this lifetime, shall I witness the Philippines being one of the most clamored countries in the world because it’s safe to live, healthy to stay, economically stable, free of crimes, having good leadership : political leadership and having great positive influence to the world! In God’s will, AMEN!
