Hello friends, I hope you are all well. I'm sharing with you a new reinterpretation of faces. My constant struggle to achieve realistic portraits that, above all, resemble the person I wish to illustrate. It's a long road of practice I must take. People sometimes ask me why I don't draw other things, but the truth is, I'm passionate about making portraits. I love seeing faces, and being able to portray not only the likeness, but the essence of the person, is something very captivating for me. Today's presentation is a graphite practice of the actress Anya Taylor-Joy. The reference photo is from the film The Queen's Gambit, which I saw and really liked, both the plot of the film and the artist's representation.
Hola amigos, deseo se encuentren muy bien, comparto con ustedes una nueva reinterpretación de rostros. Mi lucha constante por lograr retratos realistas y que sobre todo se parezcan a la persona que deseo ilustrar. Es un camino largo de práctica que debo recorrer, por ahí me preguntan el porque no dibujo otras cosas, pero la verdad, realizar retratos, me apasiona, me encanta ver rostros, y poder retratar no solo el parecido, sino la esencia de la persona, es algo muy atrapante para mi. La presentación de hoy es un práctica realizada en grafito de la actriz Anya Taylor-Joy, la foto de referencia corresponde a la película Gambito de Dama, la cual vi y me gustó mucho tanto la trama de la peli, como la representación de esta artista.
