Hazakura Matcha by Uji Matcha

Hello ASEAN Buddies...  This was my first exploration of matcha. I attended a matcha festival and was looking for a matcha to try. There was a long line at the event, so I chose a shop with no queues. It was Uji Matcha, a Japanese-themed shop. Their menu items were all Japanese-themed, like the drink I chose. It was a completely new type of drink for me. This is Hazakura Matcha… ----- **Hazakura Matcha by Uji Matcha** ---- ------- |  |  | | ----| ----| Honestly, I just saw this Matcha stall at the Matcha Festival. I chose it because it had a Japanese concept and I didn't have to wait long to get my matcha variant. Oh, and it turns out I made the right choice. I absolutely love this Uji Matcha. I chose Hazakura Matcha because the owner and founder were promoting it. What attracted me was its pink color. I originally wanted to try the signature Matcha Latte, but it's a menu item I can find everywhere, but the Sakura variant is a rare find. I really like my choice.  I could even see the barista processing my order. It was a rare moment when baristas would let me see their work. I watched their work closely and in detail. I loved it when the barista stirred the matcha powder in the ceramic bowl. I loved the way they moved their broom-like stirrer—at least to me, it looked like a broom. ---- ***Hazakura Matcha…*** ----- |  |  | | ----| ----| I mentioned that I chose this Hazakura Matcha because of its pink color and cherry blossom blend. I was so curious about the cherry blossom flavor. I never even imagined it could be made into a refreshing drink. I truly didn't expect to be able to taste the cherry blossom petals.  The color combination of this dish is very beautiful: pink and dark green. I initially thought my glass would be filled with green with cherry blossom petals. I really liked this color combination. I didn't want to shake the glass and make the pink disappear.     But in the end, I had to shake my glass and lose my favorite color. This is what the Hazakura Matcha I ordered finally looked like. The green color was very intense. Then I tasted it, and it was absolutely delicious. It was a combination of the sweetness of the cherry blossoms and the richness of matcha. Ah, I love this combination. |  |  | | ----| ----| I think I'll make this Hazakura Matcha my number one favorite matcha variant from now on. I'm also curious to see which variant will be my number two favorite, and so on. I can't wait to explore matcha flavors from other outlets.
