Last week, when I returned to my hometown, there was one place I decided to spend a light vacation with my family. I'd actually wanted to take a trip to Lake Toba with my family, but for various reasons, I had to postpone it. Instead, we went to Lake Kelapa Gading. So, my dream of going to a lake still came true, even if it was a different lake. Hehehe…
Let's get it!

Kelapa Gading Lake is an artificial lake that has only been around for about 10 years. I remember when it first opened. It was when I was in college. My friends and I often went here after class. Yup, this lake is very close to my campus. We even made a video to promote the lake as a college assignment. Those were the days when being able to go to a place like this was a privilege. So when I returned to Kelapa Gading Lake again, I felt a sense of nostalgia with my group from college. Those are moments that can't slip my mind.

When my family and I arrived, the lake was still very quiet. It was still early in the day, so everyone was probably busy with work and hadn't been able to relax here. As far as I can remember, this lake has developed considerably. Back then, there was nothing here except for seating to relax. There were no kiosks selling substantial food and drinks. The only thing that remained the same were the pedal boats, which were still the same.

This is one of the improvements to Kelapa Gading Lake. Previously, there was no bridge connecting the lakeshore to the small island in the middle. While the island was once empty, now there's a cafe, making the bridge's construction a necessity. Furthermore, the shape of the small island in the middle of the lake is reminiscent of Lake Toba. I suspect the lake's construction was inspired by Lake Toba.

This lake is located on the side of the road, so it's not difficult to find. It's a bit far from the bustling city of Kisaran, so residents often find it here in the afternoon after their daily activities. It's no surprise, as the lake's surroundings can truly relax anyone, thanks to the gentle breeze. The water, while not crystal clear, allows you to see fish, tempting you to fish. However, fishing is not permitted in this lake.

I hope Kelapa Gading Lake can be further developed to reach more visitors and that improvements are made to the safety of children around the lake. That would be great, as it would attract parents to play around the lake. Even though it's man-made, it's still incredibly beautiful and has a truly natural feel.
Anyway... this lake **Supercalifragilisticexpilidocious!**
Hasta La Vistaa....

Hi, Halo, Annyeong, welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
