Stroll Around the History of Muzium Negara, Kuala Lumpur

Hi everyone. Hope you all are well as always.  I felt guilty when @aswita @macchiata @akumagai invited me to walk around the city, and I slightly declined, simply because I'd already been to the places they mentioned. I shouldn't have declined—though I ended up going along, because I felt like I shouldn't make anyone else look like they were begging. Oh, I felt so guilty. The reason I ultimately felt guilty was because I was going with different people anyway. Imagine how many times locals like @newlittlethings invite multiple people to the same place? It's not a good idea to turn down an invitation to have fun, even if you've been there thousands of times. The most important thing isn't the destination, but who you're having fun with. This became a personal reflection for me. So, even though I'd been to the State Museum, I ultimately went along because I couldn't resist the hilarious jokes @akumagai made with @aswita, which made my day. So, wherever our little group went, I happily followed, including going inside the State Museum, which I'd never done before. Even if I'd been inside before, I wouldn't have wanted to stay alone; I would have definitely explored the museum with this small group. [//]:# (!worldmappin 3.13786 lat 101.68707 long d3scr) ----- **What's Inside Muzium Negara** ----- -----  Continuing our journey from Batu Caves, still with @yunnie @demotruk and @walterjay, we headed to the National Museum by commuter train. Upon arrival, we immediately booked tickets. Since we were foreigners in Malaysia, we were charged a museum entrance fee of 5 RM, or around IDR 20,000.  Entering the Museum, you're confronted with a very large room, as if you'd just entered a palace. The layout is so grand, I wondered where Malaysia's historical relics were. |  |  | | ----| ----| |  |  | | ----| ----| The only things in the room were photographs depicting special events, such as the arrival of Queen Elizabeth—she even got to taste durian—the Crown Prince of Japan, and the visit of the Sultan of Selangor. There were also photos of rubber farmers. So, I was really curious, so after we entered the Museum, we waited for Jessica for a while. After she arrived, we were taken to see the exhibits inside. ----  Apparently, the main areas of the museum are on the left and right sides of the building. I forget which area we visited first, the left or right. I only remember the first thing that caught my eye was a map of the Malacca plain, which was once part of Sumatra—my birthplace. Now, let me present to you some historical relics closely related to Malaysia—and also to Indonesia, my country. |  |  | | ---| ---|   |  |  | | ----| ----|  |  | | ----| ----| This section displays numerous historical relics, including simple tools such as stones for survival and glassware used in the past. All of these historical objects are housed in glass cases, giving them a sacred appearance.           ----- **Primordial Man**  In addition to historical relics, the museum also displays replicas of prehistoric humans, who still lived in caves and made fires from wood.  What's interesting about this section is that I overheard a child's shocked remarks upon seeing a mannequin, saying, "How can he be so rude?" to the mannequin, which appeared to be urinating. I spontaneously laughed at the child's innocent remark. ------- ------ **Coloniasim Era**  |  |  | | ----| ----| ------ ----- **Mining Ship** -------  This is a ship used for tin mining in the past. Jessica told me that people used to mine with this ship. It's a very large ship, and I can only imagine how noisy it was. |  |  | | ----| ----|  ------ ------- **Crypto in the Past**  This was a form of exchange used before the advent of money and cryptocurrencies like today. Interestingly, there was a type of exchange shaped like a bullet. **Phone vs SmartPhone**  The rapid development of the times has made the heavy telephone into a flat object that is easy to hold and carry anywhere.
