Jakarta has everything I could ever want and never fails to amaze me. That's what happened when I first arrived at this lake. I had no idea Jakarta had such a serene lake surrounding it. The weather was scorching hot when an online taxi brought me to the lake. There's no direct public transportation that passes through this route because it's integrated with elite residential areas, but using an online taxi—meaning a motorbike taxi—is not too expensive. I purposely arrived during lunchtime—I left at 11 a.m. by public transportation, so it took quite a while—because I wanted to have lunch there. I guess enjoying lunch with a gentle breeze is the best moment. So here I am, on the shore of a lake called Citra 8 Lake. Let's get it! This artificial lake serves as a facility for the residents of the Citra Garden complex. It appears vast, covering approximately 10 square hectares. Exploring its entire shoreline will leave you exhausted, LOL. But don't worry, as you can only explore half of its length. Interestingly, there are plenty of food and beverage outlets along the shoreline, ensuring you won't be short of nutrients or thirsty. Yes, the water in this lake is not as clear as most lakes, which will make you want to soak and swim. Even so, this lake water is not as bad as polluted rivers. Furthermore, this area is strictly guarded, with even the grass forbidden to be stepped on. I think that's a good rule, as small children could easily run towards the lake's edge and accidentally drown.  Hmm, I really appreciate the management around it.
