Watching Sunset At The Sea Side, Ancol

Hi everyone. Hope you all are well as always.  >edited by Canva Ancol remains a favorite tourist destination for Jakarta residents due to its many beaches. Furthermore, its pier has been used as a filming location for many films in the past, so movie buffs often come here to recreate scenes from their favorite TV shows. I'm not one of them, but some of my friends are. It was Sunday, and coincidentally, I was asked to be a cameraman for a content project. I happily accepted the request because I was in the mood for a getaway. I told you my current obsession is maps. When my friends pointed out a spot—even though I'd been there too many times—I accepted. Turns out, I was wrong; I'd never been to this part of Ancol. Let's get it! [//]:# (!worldmappin -6.11843 lat 106.84691 long d3scr) ----- **The Sea Side, Ancol** ----- -----  From the beach area, we reached this cafe, which is right in the middle of the sea—literally, not really in the middle of the sea, but still near the beach, but hopefully you can get the idea. I won't review the cafe. I sat on the edge and enjoyed the passing boats while enjoying the gentle breeze.    See the orange glow on the left side of the photo? Yup, that day we wanted to enjoy the sunset at Ancol, so we stayed around waiting for it. Ah, not really staying around, we were creating content. My friends were creating content for their social media, while I was creating content for this blockchain. Pretty fair, right?  This is the pier, a favorite photo spot because from this place you can see the activity of the sun going down from its throne, boats that take visitors around Ancol, jet ski fans, and big sunset fans like me.      …and this was the best moment there, sunset. What we'd been waiting for finally colored the sky—not so blue, but with its golden yellow, making the gloomy sky beautiful. I spent time there until the sky was completely dark. There's nothing quite like this sunset in Jakarta; I loved being there. If you happen to be in Ancol, head to the Columbus Café near the pier, where you can watch the sunset from the best vantage point. Enjoy your favorite drinks and food until the sun sets. I'm sure it will be one of the most beautiful moments of your life.
