___ _(Lectores españoles, su versión está más abajo!)_ ___ Last tuesday (12th) was set up as the final press conference for E3. The last finale or the last hit was up to Nintendo to give. They were the ones who had the power to either finish E3 in a bombastic way or completely ruin it. Nintendo had the weight of the whole gaming world on their shoulders and they still didn't disappoint in my opinion. Sure, it lacked to some but it was more than enough for the majority of people sintonizing to E3. **Here's a rather thorough analysis.** [GamingIntel.com](https://gamingintel.com/events/e3/nintendo-e3-2018-games-leaked-fortnite-pokemon-lets-go/) The first thing we see is the Nintendo direct logo after portraying a rather new and inventive introduction to what these livestreams will be from now on. It had a lot of joycons and colorful motive playing with the nintendo switch logo and the concept of the console. We are instantly introduced to a game trailer after this. No breaks, no Reggie introductions. We're dropped into the middle of the action. ## Daemon X Machina
Although my pessimists comment on Pokémon Let's Go are shown, I do think Nintendo is always looking to innovate and this seems like a rather cool result in my opinion. It helps to broad even more the portability and the immersion the Pokémon games can create. I'll leave a couple more screenshots down below! ___ These next three games were presented in a rush in my opinion, But I do understand Nintendo trying to make space for the main course which we'll get to later. We're presented with a brief trailer on the new Mario Party Game: ## Super Mario Party This game is meant to be played in groups and on the go. Literally. The trailer showcases a group of friends hanging around with two Switches, utilizing both of the screens to create a pattern for a minigame. This seems so inventive to me and it truly brings out what's so good about the switch, what makes it unique and stand out from the other consoles out there in the market. The trailer really focuses on sharing the fun with your friends and the multiplayer aspect of the game, since the portability aspect of the Switch exists and is prominent, you're bound to share with your fellow switchers and connect both consoles while you're hanging around either at a pub or even camping! ## Here's [Super Mario Party trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAuNwjd4O-4) ## Fire Emblem: Three houses. Now this was a heavy drop for the E3. Fire Emblem has turned into one of Nintendo's most succesful franchises in the latest years and the company is aware of that. Dropping this trailer is only a brief foreshadowing, a short but flavorful dish that works only as a teaser for what is to come. We're shown three of the main characters and a little bit of how the gameplay will work. It seems like it will focus also on big army cruzades and battles, not so much managing individual units but also commanding special units which will by defect, command smaller centered armies. Take a look! ___ ___ ___ This by far is one of the things i'm most excited about since i'm a longtime Fire Emblem fan. And it seems like this game is improving and adding to what the formula already had while still keeping the main essence of the game. It's also noted what aesthetic and art direction the game takes. It seems like this game will be set on a more refined or gothic so to say medieval German setting. (Which I completely love and support, btw.) ## Here's [Fire Emblem: Three houses, trailer.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkux5h0PeXo) ## Fortnite There's not a lot to say around here, Fortnite get's ported to the Nintendo Switch so you can bring your battleroyale experience on the go and on the fly! The trailer consists of a rather funny and entertaining group of friends playing fortnite and doing dumb stuff while on school, restaurants etc, etc. I highly recommend watching it on your own but i'll leave some screenshots over here! ___ ___ ___ ## Here's [Fortnite's Nintendo Switch trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbysmKY3558) Before the last game in this list, Nintendo hits us with some Indies along the way, we hear of ### [Overcooked 2](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKNO0MsDV2k) ___ ### [Killer Queen Black](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2K0B8wsIoY8) ___ ### [Hollow Knight](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWo5g-tsBNk) Again, before the last course is finally served, we get a sort of really short but concise and fast recapitulation of the things coming for nintendo switch that weren't mentioned in this Nintendo Direct, I'll leave it [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X94zZGKVPNA). I highly recommend to watch as well. And now, for the last course. What you and I have been waiting for all along. ## Super Smash Bros Ultimate Where to start... Oh yeah... Everyone is here. By everyone, I mean literally every character in every Super Smash Bros game is here. Even the ones that were taken out on Smash 4, and brawl are here. And yes, Snake is back. I'll point out the veterans who are coming back and 2 new fighters who feel very welcomed into the roster!
And last but not least, i'll show you guys the latest newcomer in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Get ready for: With his own's [cinematic cutscene](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJFoEudaOnw), Ridley gets his well deserved spot in here. After being literally meme'd into smash, fans finally made his inclusion a reality. In my honest opinion this is totally a deserved spot to him because he's the archnemesis of Samus, the monster who killed her parents and the character who has appeared in almost the same amount of games as her. The trailer and Nintendo direct finish with this whooping reveal. We've gotten a ton of games announced, a NEW SMASH BROS REVEALED and a lot of information to speculate and talk about. If this isn't doing an E3 right, then I don't know what it is, BUT this doesn't mean Nintendo did everything right. Some people complained about the fact that Smash Bros Ultimate literally took 25 minutes of the 43 minutes in total of what this direct lasted. People also complain we didn't get more info on Metroid Prime 4 which was [Teased at last year's E3](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFbDmTjS_MI) and some other complaints people always have. In my opinion, this was a good E3 overall and even better for Nintendo, it seems like they're finally getting their footing with the Switch's Launch and arriving to a place where they're comfortable with what they're doing, so that's always good. In terms of rating this E3 Conference, I would say I rate this one an 8 out 10. It was good yeah, but maybe it could have been better, who knows. We'll be analyzing Sony's conference and higlighting what I thought was great and not so great on my next post so stay tuned if you didn't catch it or you aren't brave enough to watch the recorded 1:17 hours of footage, lol. See you around on the next time, Volderhein out! ## Each and every image which doesn't have a source, was taken from a screenshot from the direct feed of Nintendo's conference on youtube. ___ ### [Join us at the most OP Gaming community on Steemit!](https://discord.gg/zTe8ySf) ___ ### [Join Archdruid Gaming, a community focused on curating Gaming content!](https://discord.gg/cjmkN7Y) # Versión en Español:

Daemon X Machina Trailer
Instantly we are met with high pitched guitar string introducing some metal tunes to this really high action and cell shaded trailer. We are introduced to Mechas with guns, lasers and swords, revealing that this game will mainly be high mecha gun and melee action.

Daemon X Machina Trailer
The first thing we notice as a viewer is the Giant robots with a very Gundamnesque feel to them. We notice them firing giant gatling guns and lasers, dashing through the sand in a giant desert reminiscent of old classics like those Mad Max or even Blade Runner.
Later we are shown a destroyed city scenario accompanied with a lot more bigger robots and a blooded crimson sky. This scene is followed by many more short cuts, showcasing new areas and battles, here's where most of the action is shown, taking a closer look and a more cinematic angle to the fight scenes.

Overall to me this game looks like sort of mix between No more Heroes with it's colourful cell shaded palette, Metal Gear Solid with the very prominent mecha's and giant robots inspiration on the lookout for your ship. For me I think it also draws inspiration from the past entry in the Xeno Series, Xenoblade Chronicles X in the way the mechas move and battle.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Torna - The Golden Country.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Trailer
> The year was 3564. The 107th Indoline praetor, Rhadallis... Had sent an armed expedition against the country of Coeia. It's capital, Omrantha, fell overnight... And sank beneath the clouds, along with the rest of the Titan.
In fact, it had been the work of one Blade. The aegis, a man known as Malos.

This narration serves as a setup for the upcoming DLC for Xenoblade. Basically impending doom is associated with this entity called Malos and we get introduced to some new characters (Probably party members) which will help us seal this evil once and for all. This arc of the story will also help develop some of the character's stories and rivalries that form along the main campaign of the game. There's not a lot to say besides the fact that in this trailer we are offered a new arc of the story, development for already existing characters and EVEN MORE CHARACTERS! If I owned Xeno 2 I would be hyped through the roof.

Pokémon Let's go Pikachu / Eevee

Nintendo at E3
We're met with a familiar face once the Xenoblade trailer finishes, we're met with Reggie's persona, who lowkey foreshadows the Super Smash Bros Invitational and Pokémon Let's Go. Fairly quick we're introduced to the respective game's pseudo (Because they're very brief) trailers.

Reggie showcases how this is the ultimate form of playing pokémon on the go, the only true way to finally take pokémon wherever you go. You can even transfer your pokemons from Pokémon GO to these entries... And here's where my doubts start to surface. Although Pokémon Let's GO looks nice on it's own, I think behind it's facade it's just an improvement of what Pokémon GO is. Which in my terms, it's not a real pokemon game. It feels like a ported version of Pokemon GO on a console and that doesn't really bring my hopes high enough...

Pokeball Plus
This short segment of the stream is also meant to introduce the new and only, Pokéball Plus. A new controller shaped just like a Pokeball which you can specially use to play Pokémon Let's GO! The Pokeball Plus will also come with an exclusive Mew which you probably won't get anywhere else.
Although my pessimists comment on Pokémon Let's Go are shown, I do think Nintendo is always looking to innovate and this seems like a rather cool result in my opinion.
