¡Buenas! No soy mucho de escribir pero... ¡allá voy!
>Well, I'm not much of a writer but.... here I go!
Soy un chico apunto de cumplir 35 años, soy de Zaragoza (España), la ciudad del viento como nosotros la llamamos. Me llamo Rubén aunque la mayoría de las personas me conocen por mi apellido que es Jericó, no paso desapercibido, ya que mido casi 2 metros, 1´98m para ser exacto, me gusta cantar, quedar con mis amigos, jugar a videojuegos, viajar, etc... Aunque mi gran pasión son las motos, por eso mi presentación va a dedicada a hablar sobre esa parte de mí.

My name is Ruben although most people know me by my surname which is Jericho, I don't go unnoticed, I'm almost 2 meters tall, 1'98m to be exact, I like singing, meeting my friends, playing videogames, travelling, etc... Although my great passion is motorbikes, that's why my presentation will be dedicated to talk about that part of me.
Trabajo usando una (soy cartero), me muevo para todo con mi moto, viajo con ella, salgo con mis amigos con ella, todo gira alrededor de ella. Deciros que me saque el carnet de moto “grande” antes que el de coche.
La primera moto de gran cilindrada que compre fue una Honda CB600F Hornet del 2007 con tan solo 17.000km, la moto vino a mi de rebote por así decirlo. Estaba en el taller de motos donde trabaja mi hermano y mi primo, estaba bien de precio, encajaba en lo que yo buscaba.

>The first big bike I bought was a 2007 Honda CB600F Hornet with only 17.000km, the bike came to me by rebound so to speak. It was at the motorbike shop where my brother and cousin work, it was well priced, it fit what I was looking for.
Aun la recuerdo, era color dorado, mis primeras rutas, mis primeras sensaciones de aceleración y velocidad, la sensación de libertad... como un famoso piloto dijo, lo mejor que se puede hacer con la ropa puesta es montar en moto.
>I still remember it, it was golden, my first routes, my first sensations of acceleration and speed, the feeling of freedom... as a famous rider said, the best thing you can do with your clothes on is ride a motorbike.
Con ella fui por todo tipo de lugares y terrenos, ¡hasta por la nieve!, ese día hice fotos de mi hazaña/locura, con ello gané entrada para la concentración invernal de pingüinos que se celebra en Valladolid. Fueron muchos kilómetros de aventuras, conocí a mucha gente que ahora son buenos amigos míos, poco a poco la pasión se hacia mas grande en mi interior.
>With it I went through all kinds of places and terrains, even through the snow, that day I took photos of my feat/craziness, and with it I won a ticket for the winter penguin rally in Valladolid. There were many kilometres of adventures, I met a lot of people who are now good friends of mine, little by little the passion was growing inside me...
A todo esto me fui haciendo conocido entre el mundo motero de mi ciudad, iba a cada ruta o concentración que podía, mi estilo de conducción con una montura tan pequeña para mi envergadura era difícil de olvidar. Un buen día conocidos moteros que se habían metido en un club de motos, vamos un llamado MC, de esos que llevan chaleco de cuero y parches, me dijeron que me pasase un día por su local. Yo era muy reticente y me gustaba ir de por libre, pero al final caí. Me lo pase genial y había buen rollo, dentro había mucha gente conocida, así que todo fue mas fácil. Mas adelante en otra publicación ya hablare sobre el mundo de los moto clubs, por ahora solo es mi presentación.
>I started to become known in the biker world of my city, I went to every route or meeting I could, my riding style with such a small bike for my size was difficult to forget. One day some bikers who had joined a motorbike club, a so-called MC, one of those that wear leather waistcoats and patches, told me to come to their place one day. I was very reluctant and I liked to go on my own, but in the end I fell for it, I had a great time and there was a good vibe, inside there were a lot of people I knew, so everything was easier. Later in another publication I will talk about the world of motorbike clubs, for now this is just my presentation.
Con el tiempo y experiencia ganada sobre las dos ruedas (aunque yo llevaba bastantes años atrás con motos de baja cilindrada), pensé en cambiar hacia una moto de mejores prestaciones y mayor tamaño. Entonces aquí entra mi siguiente montura aunque tiene una pequeña anécdota.
>With time and experience gained on two wheels (although I had been riding small bikes for quite a few years), I thought about changing to a bike with better performance and bigger size. So this is where my next bike comes in, although it has a small anecdote.
Desde pequeño me gustaban las motos, me compraba muchas revistas de motos incluso catálogos anuales donde salían las motos que cada año había en el mercado, era el año 2001, salón de la moto en Tokyo, en estos salones presentan modelos nuevos, prototipos, etc... Pues bien la moto que mas me llamo la atención era un prototipo, una moto estilo naked con el motor de la moto mas rápida del mundo en aquel entonces (Suzuki hayabusa), su porte me impactó, enorme doble salida de escape por el colín y el tremendo motor que albergaba me enamoró al instante, era la Suzuki B-king.
>Since I was a child I liked motorbikes, I used to buy a lot of motorbike magazines, even annual catalogues where the motorbikes that were on the market every year were shown, it was the year 2001, motorbike show in Tokyo, in these shows new models, prototypes, etc... Well, the bike that caught my attention was a prototype, a naked style bike with the engine of the fastest bike in the world at that time (Suzuki Hayabusa), its size shocked me, huge dual exhaust outlet through the tail and the tremendous engine that housed me fell in love instantly, it was the Suzuki B-king.
Bueno a lo que íbamos. En una de mis salidas mucho antes de querer cambiar de moto, conocí a una persona con esta moto, hay muy pocas unidades entonces era difícil coincidir con una. Dicho esto me acorde del dueño de mi futura moto, manteníamos el contacto mediante facebook, el debido a una enfermedad la tenia aparcada y no la usaba, le conté que tenia intención de cambiar de moto y el me ofreció a venderme la suya. Ahora es cuando me puse manos a la obra, anuncie mi moto por un precio razonable y ¡pum!, en menos de una semana vendida, junte dinero de donde pude y mi sueño de la adolescencia... ¡fue conseguido!.
>Well, what we were going to do. In one of my outings long before I wanted to change my bike, I met a person with this bike, there are very few units so it was difficult to coincide with one. That said I remembered the owner of my future bike, we kept in touch via facebook, due to an illness he had it parked and did not use it, I told him that I intended to change my bike and he offered to sell me his. Now is when I got down to work, I advertised my bike for a reasonable price and boom, in less than a week sold, I raised money from where I could and my dream of adolescence .... was achieved.
Llevar una moto de 1340cc y casi 200cv no era una tarea fácil para unas manos inexpertas, había que tener mucha cabeza, las motos son muy peligrosas aun teniendo experiencia y mas en una moto de estas características sin ningún tipo de ayuda electrónica, pero... ¡me quedaba de lujo!. Ahora era capitán de ruta de mi club, y con esta moto capitaneando un gran grupo de motos era una gran estandarte.
>Carrying a 1340cc and almost 200hp bike was not an easy task for inexperienced hands, you had to have a lot of head, motorbikes are very dangerous even with experience and more on a bike of these characteristics without any electronic assistance, but.... It was a great fit! Now I was the road captain of my club, and with this bike leading a big group of bikes I was a great standard bearer.
Con esta monstruosa moto me recorrí toda España, de norte a sur y de este a oeste, visité los países vecinos, llené mi vida de aventuras, donde conocí paisajes increíbles y disfrute de la gastronomía, todo gran motero rutero sale por varios motivos. El primero por lo mas obvio, montar en moto como no, el segundo salir con los amigos, juntarse con mas gente, disfrutar de las zonas que visitas y por ultimo la gastronomía. Normalmente se sale a almorzar, a media mañana unos huevos fritos con patatas y una buena porción de carne, que lo típico es la longaniza, chorizo, panceta, jamón, morcilla, etc. Y luego esta cuando se alarga la cosa y se va a comer a un sitio en especifico, a esto lo llamo yo rutas gastronómicas.
>With this monstrous motorbike I travelled all over Spain, from north to south and from east to west, I visited neighbouring countries, I filled my life with adventures, where I met incredible landscapes and enjoyed the gastronomy, every great biker goes out for several reasons. The first one is the most obvious, riding a motorbike of course, the second one is to go out with friends, to meet more people, to enjoy the areas you visit and finally the gastronomy. Normally you go out for lunch, mid-morning fried eggs with potatoes and a good portion of meat, typically sausage, chorizo, bacon, ham, blood sausage, etc.. And then there is when things get longer and you go out to eat in a specific place, this is what I call gastronomic routes.
Como seguía diciendo, que me lio a hablar y me ando por las ramas. Mientras tenia esta moto me salio la oportunidad de comprarme una moto custom de un compañero del club, una Yamaha xv1600 wildstar. Siempre tuve la curiosidad de como seria tener un hierro de esos tan pesados pero bonitos, así que la adquirí a buen precio. Las personas decían que me pegaba, que era de mi estilo, pero mi corazón siempre sera el estilo naked (me gusta curvear que le vamos a hacer). Con esta moto también viaje, aunque no tanto, pero si hice largos viajes, sobre todo hice muchas fotos a la moto (ya sabéis el postureo).
>As I kept on saying, I'm going on and on and on. While I had this bike I had the opportunity to buy a custom bike from a fellow club member, a Yamaha xv1600 wildstar. I was always curious about what it would be like to have one of those heavy but beautiful iron bikes, so I bought it at a good price. People said it suited me, that it was my style, but my heart will always be the naked style (I like to ride, what can I do). With this bike I also travelled, although not so much, but I did make long trips, and above all I took a lot of photos of the bike (you know the postureo).
Este año tome una decisión, vendí las dos monturas y me compre una flamante moto recién salida este año, quería algo mas lógico, una moto un poco menos potente, con deposito mas grande, mas cómoda y con capacidad de carga para viajar. Era del mismo estilo de conducción que mi anterior moto que es lo que me encanta pero distinta estética, con esta nueva moto espero hacer aun mas viajes y mas largos, poder contar miles de aventuras y descubrir nuevos paisajes fantásticos.
>This year I made a decision, I sold my two bikes and bought a brand new one, I wanted something more logical, a bike a little less powerful, with a bigger tank, more comfortable and with the capacity to travel. It was the same riding style as my previous bike which is what I love but different aesthetics, with this new bike I hope to do even more and longer trips, to be able to tell thousands of adventures and discover new fantastic landscapes.

Finalizando también os contare que un amigo y yo nos dedicamos a probar muchos modelos de moto, modelos actuales y otros que llevan algún año ya en el mercado, en poco mas de año y medio llevamos cerca de 30 motos probadas. Las probamos, les hacemos fotos, vídeos, etc. Son todo tipo de estilos diferentes, esto me da experiencia para saber hablar y comparar motos de similares características. Me gusta porque a la hora de comprar o tener intención de cambiar de montura algún amigo, la primera persona que piensan a la hora de preguntar es a mí, soy un autentico friki de las motos, una enciclopedia humana, espero que todo lo que vaya publicando posteriormente sirva para entretenimiento de todos y ayuda según mis consejos.
