Nature Travel at Naawan-Manticao Border

Philippines is a kind of tropical place, lots of coconut trees and other kinds of wild plants can be found in Mountains and near at the river. As I continued my River nature adventure, I will take you in some parts of the river located at the Border point between Manticao and Naawan. Aside of that, there is also a stream that connects to river and the fresh water flows in here is came from Mountainous place of Sitio Kabingatan, one of the place found in Naawan. Naawan and Manticao is located at the Province of Misamis Oriental here in Mindanao, it is a place were lots of bodies of water and mountain ranges can be found. The two Municipalities are easily locates but the particular destinations of the place I went particularly the border point is quitely far from the Main road. It takes almost an hour pf walking adventure but the road trail is accessible by small kinds of vehicles like cars, motorcycles and many more.

First, we will take a quick tour of the stream located at Sitio Makawa. This place here connected to the river and almost 7 stream water channels having here due to flashfloods and continuing collapsing of soil. Tons of big silica rocks covered with mosh and dry bamboo leaves fall to the water. Each side of the cliff are lots of rocks shown at the surface and few bamaboos grows near at the Cliff. This crystal clear fresh water flowed down from Kabingatan mountain all the way down here heading to the river. Every summer season, this area here will completely dry leaving lots of rocks and dry leaves. When rainy season came and the stream have lots of flowing water, residents will went here to washed their clothes. The place is always cool and fresh because of the shady spots brought by big and wide branches of trees.

As we continue for our Nature traveling, we will go to the slope areas near at the stream. This area here were lots of cogon grass covered the entire place is also a tree sanctuary. Hundreds of germilina and molave trees planted here and the slope is planted with lots of trees. There are also few agricultural plants like Bananas planted here and some wild animals like birds also fly and perching on the tree branches. Bikers and motor trail adventures always passing by here because of the small road trail locates here. At the top of this mountain slope is the big chunks of silica rocks and a few structures like waitingsheds.

Not farther from the sloped and tree sanctuary areas is the wide and plain agricultural land. Hundreds of coconut trees and almost 50 Farm raised animals like cows raised in here. It is truly a perfect place to raised lots of animals here because of lots of grass grows. Almost 3 hectares of land are occupied by coconut plants and all of it are already produced lots of fruits.

This is the border point between Manticao and Naawan. This river here also connects to the previous areas I'd posted last day and the fresh water flows here are came from the mountain. Tons of rocks can be seen here and it gives an attractiveness of the place because of its colors, sizes and formations. Lots of deep fresh water can found here and perfect as a swimming spots. Most part of the cliffs here also contains bamboo plants and few tall trees. It is also a perfect areas to do fishing activities and picnics trips in the rocky plain sites of the river. This are some of Nature's wonderful gift for us and a perfect spots to visit specially during summer season. Until next post, have a safe travel to everyone.
