After years of building at the frontier of blockchain interoperability, VSC is evolving. Today, we’re proud to announce our rebrand to Magi Network (Magi)! A change that reflects our mission and our vision for a truly inter-connected crypto ecosystem. (pronounced “MAH-jai” — /mæ-dʒai/)
We have chosen the name "Magi" because what it does feels almost otherworldly: a single command, and walls between chains vanish. 🧙♀️
The focus of VSC has always been bridging divides between blockchains, between users, between the possibilities of decentralized finance and the realities of everyday use. Our early work laid the foundation for scalable, trust-minimized, and user-first infrastructure that aims to abstract all complexity for every day crypto use while providing developers tools to realize their own vision.
That foundation has now matured into Magi Network, a protocol designed to eliminate barriers between chains, simplify developer access, and make cross-chain experiences feel as seamless as traditional finance. Magi brings together the ideas we’ve developed at VSC and refines them for the next era of crypto. The shift from VSC to MAGI marks the moment we stop explaining how it works, and start showing what’s possible.
