Hey guys, good morning. This is Val Campbell. Thanks for joining me. I'm so glad to be here. I wanted to share with you some things off my heart.
Number one, I want to talk about the inevitable of success, You've really thought about, heard about a lot, but it really relates if you're in the entrepreneurial realm or if you're going to be going into the entrepreneurial realm. So I want to talk and share from my heart about some of the challenges, some of the ups and downs you go through as being an entrepreneur, and then I want to provide a call to action. What are you doing right now to take advantage of your situation? What are you doing to build a home-based business? What are your options? Well, we could provide you and help you with that with a proven leadership team, a solid company, and a solid system. So I'm going to talk about that here a little bit.
First of all, let's talk about the inevitablez of success, guys, If you work a job, that's great. If you've been an entrepreneur, if you've been an entrepreneur, you're going to relate a little with what I'm talking about, but if you haven't, stay tuned because I'm going to share some stuff with you. It's not a big deal, but it's going to be part of your journey once you jump into the entrepreneurial realm. So let's look at the inevitable of success, I've got 11 of them listed here. Some of the lists will give you 12, but you know, you're gonna feel some pain, right? No pain, no gain, I guess that would be the best way to say it. You're gonna have to work. You know what my mentor, Cal Becerra, says: "Success finds hard work." You know, talk to any top-performing athlete, they're gonna go through some pain to get to where they're at, at their top peak level. So you're gonna feel some pain, guys, You can't get away from it, and learn to embrace it and love it. You know, you're gonna cry before you get it, and trust me, when you want something really bad, when you want success, you know where you want to be and you're at this point, you want to get over here, you're gonna cry about it. If you've got any feelings, any humanity in you, you're gonna cry before you totally get it. You're gonna be frustrated about it, but it's tears of desire and really wanting to achieve success.
Number three, I don't like to mention this, but you're gonna lose friends. Not intentionally on my part, guys. I love all my friends. I love everybody that's on social media. I want to try to uplift them and encourage them as much as possible, but you're gonna find out that there are people that don't want anything to do with what you're doing, okay? They're not comfortable. I call it, you know, the old analogy of crabs in a pot: when one tries to climb out and get out, the others pull them back down. It's kind of that thing. It's sad to say, but it's also a reality. You're gonna lose some friends. Do my best and do your best to minimize that, but people are just gonna have no interest in what you're doing, whether they really know Muslims, they don't really know what you're doing, but you're gonna lose friends, okay?
And then fourth, your family will discourage you. I've been there, done that. Sadly, my situation right now, I don't have any close personal family left. I got my wife and my daughters certainly on my wife's side, but all my family is deceased, so I don't have to worry about what people think there. Maybe that's a blessing, but it came at a high price. But your family's not gonna understand what you're doing necessarily. Obviously, you're close to them, you love them, you value their opinions, you want them to love and support you, but the fact is, when you jump into the entrepreneurial realm, most of the time, unless they're already there, if they are people who are in jobs or careers and they've never had their own business, been an entrepreneur, they're gonna discourage you. Just be aware of that.
it's kind of a heads up. Just be aware that your family, those closest to you, are probably gonna try to discourage you, okay? Hopefully not, but again, that's the reality,
