Number five, people hate you for no reason. I haven't personally sensed this, but it's out there, guys. People are just gonna, like, for the reason they don't want to talk to you, they don't want to, you know, message you back or anything, and you know, that's just life. You live your life the best you can. You want to be a good example. I wanna uplift people. You want to be a leader. You want to love people. You know, our team, stands for Love Life Lifts Everyone. But you know, despite doing that, some people are gonna hate you for no reason, okay? You can't control that, but again, just be aware when you get in this territory and you're on this Mesa real estate, that's what's gonna happen.
Number six, these kind of get more personal for me. You'll almost talk yourself out of it a hundred times. And when I say that, say, you know, you made the right decision, we're gonna what you want to do, but guys, you should go back. It's the pain, it's the stuff you got to go through. You're wondering, should I really do this? This is really gonna be worthless. And it's gonna go into lead into number seven here, but a lot of times is when you start out, okay, should I do this, should I not? Guys, if the opportunity's right, you got the right team, the right company, the right system, But you're gonna talk yourself out of it sometimes. You have to listen to that little inner voice that says, yeah, you know what, you need to do this, okay?
Number seven, you're gonna doubt yourself thousands of times. I can't tell you, it's kind of an up-and-down roller coaster that you just have to get comfortable with going through. You're gonna doubt yourself thousands of times. Did I do the right thing? Did I say the right thing? Why isn't this happening? How come it's not happening quicker? All kinds of things come in your mind, and that's where mentorship can be really important here, guys. You've got somebody who you can reach out to and talk to about these because a lot of times these are normal, but you think you're the only one experiencing it. But if you don't have anybody to bounce it off of, especially somebody who doesn't go through the same battle, the same struggles you are, it makes it really tough. So this is a great case, number seven here, for having a mentor. You're gonna doubt yourself thousands of times, but go back to number one and ask why did you start, okay? Go back to the beginning, why'd you start? But also plug into a mentor who can help talk you and walk you through that challenge.
Number eight, I don't know so much on this, but you're gonna think you're crazy. Yeah, this is a little bit crazy for me at 59, almost 60, to be jumping back into the entrepreneurial realm, getting back into the network marketing industry. You know, it's kind of a little bit crazy, but it's a good crazy. It's a planned and determined crazy. It's not just, I'm gonna jump off a cliff here and hope for the best. No, it's pretty well thought out. Again, having the right leadership team, the right company, and the right system, it's, you know, it's not totally, but at my age when I don't have to work, it is a little bit crazy, but that's a, it's a good crazy again, okay? And you're gonna develop some weird habits, okay? I mean, you're up early, you're up late, you're working on weekends. You know, it's just, you got to do what it takes when you're an entrepreneur. You know, you look at some of the top guys like, whether Ed Mylet, here's the connection of mine on LinkedIn, Gary Vaynerchuk, these guys are workers. They're in the game. They're out making it happen. Calvin Becerra, he's out there making it happen. The guy works so hard when he doesn't have to, but that, and that's gonna be seen as weird habits by some, but those of us that understand success are gonna realize that's what it takes to make it happen. How weird is Tom Brady's work ethic now? I don't know what it is specifically, but he didn't get to be an MVP quarterback and to have the success he's had by not doing stuff that looks a little weird to the average, the normal person. But again, hey, we're not average. If you're average, you know what, you're the best of the worst or the worst of the best. You've got to grow to achieve.
But you're gonna develop what looks to a lot of your friends and family like weird habits, okay? Embrace it. It's part of it. It's part of the struggle.
