Hello, Hiver Travellers! 👋
It feels like forever since I last shared a travel post with you,, My latest adventure took me on a relaxing trip out of town to my aunt's place in the beautiful province of Bukidnon.. Specifically, we ventured into the peaceful town of Baungon.. Forget the noise and the concrete jungl,, this trip was all about green fields, clean air and good old-fashioned family time…
My aunt is the queen of finding the most serene spots and she planned a short family picnic at her absolute favorite one.. It wasn’t far from her house at all.. To truly soak in the tranquility,, we decided to embrace the early bird life and started our journey just before dawn..
here's the early morning view on our way..

the sky is covered in these spectacular, swirling white clouds,, Below the sky,, the landscape is a mix of rich reddish-brown earth and vibrant green bushes.. It looks like the ground was recently worked,, maybe in preparation for planting..
You know those mornings when the air is crisp and everything feels quiet and new?! It was exactly like that.. We quickly set up our little tent in the perfect spot..

There's just something magical about sitting inside a tent, even for a short while, as you wait for the world to wake up around you.. It’s like having a front-row seat to nature's greatest show..
The moment the sun started to rise, I understood why this was my aunt’s favorite place..
The air here is unbelievable,, so fresh it feels like a soft cloth slowly caressing your face.. It’s a clean kind of air,, totally different from the dusty, exhaust-filled stuff we breathe in the city.. I instantly felt my shoulders drop and all the city stress melt away.. aaahhh That's the power of nature, right?!

As the sun climbed higher, it started showing off its warm rays, pouring golden light over everything.. The colors were incredible!! The sky was this impossibly deep blue,, contrasting beautifully with the bright, vibrant green of the fields and all the surrounding trees..

In other photos, the clouds created this dramatic, white, wispy backdro,, it was like they were painted by a master artist..
We were truly far from the busy streets.. All I could hear were the sounds of nature, maybe a chicken in the distance and the happy chatter of my family.. Look at those fields!

They stretch out forever, a mix of lush, towering trees, low-growing plants and open grassy patches.. You can spot the big, broad leaves of banana plants and the towering silhouettes of coconut trees in the distance..
It felt like we were the only people on earth, surrounded by this huge, beautiful garden..
In this picture, you can even see a field full of young papaya trees growing in neat rows on a gently sloping hill!

It’s such a powerful reminder of how alive and productive the countryside is..
That's it for my travel story, today... See you on my next nature adventure... 😊
