📍 Welcome to Alobijod "Cave"... (Maybe?)
Let me tell you about a place that had me questioning my whole understanding of what a cave actually is 😅
So, there I was, standing in front of what the locals call Alobijod Cave. But let’s be real,,, I’m not entirely sure if it’s a cave, a big rock, or just a simple rock formation that curves and hides secrets...
Is it a cave if it doesn’t have a deep, dark hole? I don’t know. But I do know one thing: it’s beautiful 😍
🌴 What You’ll Actually See was a huge rocky cliff that looks like nature tried carving a smiley face but gave up halfway through...
Thick, green jungle-y leaves hanging dramatically like it's in a shampoo commercial.
Clear blue water that literally makes you go “whoa” out loud, then realize you just said that to a fish 😄
A sandy shore so clean and soft it makes you want to lie down and think about nothing...
Oh, and there’s a curve on the big rock that creates a little hideaway, perfect for pretending you’re on a secret island. (Or hiding from your responsibilities 😏)
🐚 Creatures Too Tiny to Pose
I leaned in to take photos of the tiny sea creatures living on the rocks, but my camera said “nope.” They were like tiny crabs and critters that seemed to vanish every time I blinked... It was like trying to take a selfie with a ninja 😁
Seriously though, it’s kind of cool knowing there’s a whole micro-ecosystem living there. A reminder that even the smallest spaces can be full of life
The sand? Clean. White. Dreamy. The kind that makes you want to walk barefoot and pretend you’re in a music video, even if you're wearing Crocs. (No judgment,, I was) 😁

The water? SO CLEAR. Like, “Am I floating in Evian?” kind of clear. I could see every pebble, every ripple, and every panic splash from my niece.

👧 Speaking of Splashing...
My niece? Living her best mermaid life. She jumped in like it was her second home and splashed around until she looked like a very happy sea otter. She even tried to show me “cool swimming tricks,” which honestly just involved spinning in circles and yelling, “LOOK!”
I looked. I clapped. I may have cried from the cuteness.
Nearby, small boats rocked gently, the shore wrapped around the cove like a hug, and you could hear the happy sounds of people enjoying the day. There were hammocks, palm trees, and even a shady spot perfect for snacking and overthinking your tan lines.
🌞 Final Thoughts
Alobijod Cave (or Rock, or Cave-Rock-Hybrid) is the kind of place that makes you slow down and just be. It’s not flashy or super touristy. It’s real, simple, and soothing.

Would I go back? Absolutely... Would I bring a better camera for the tiny sea dudes? Probably not.. I like the mystery and I don't have that quality camera.. 🤣
So if you’re looking for a spot that’s part chill, part nature show, and full of clear water and good vibes, Alobijod is calling. Just don’t expect a deep, dark cave.
📸 P.S.:
Bring waterproof sandals,, you’ll be climbing around rocks and possibly meeting shy crabs.
Pack snacks but beware: if you have a niece like mine, she’ll steal them all.
Enjoy the curve, the calm, and the crazy clear water... Just... don’t fall in trying to take a selfie 😅
