🛒 From Grocery to Burger and fries: How my hunger changed my plan 😁
You know that moment when you're just trying to be a responsible adult, do your grocery shopping, and head home?? Yeah, that was the plan. WASSSS 😅
We popped into the supermarket to grab a few essentials,, just the usual... eggs, noodles, maybe a shampoo sale if the universe was kind.. but somewhere between the baking aisle and the checkout counter, my stomach started filing complaints..
Lucky for us, the universe was kind today… not with shampoo, but with food 😁
Right across the street stood a little snack house with bright orange walls and a name that literally called out to my growling belly,, “NAMIT Burger”, which in our local dialect means “yummy burger”. I mean, how can you say no to that?
🍟 Tiny snack house
Plastic chairs
Table lace that reminded me of my grandma’s living room 😁
No fancy air-con or hipster décor,,
but it had something better,, the smell of burgers sizzling on a griddle and the sound of fries getting a golden tan in hot oil. Pure, greasy magic. 😋
It felt like one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you,, because it knows its burgers can do the talking.
🍔 now the food.....
let me tell you...

Namit Burger’s bestseller? The hamburger Their burgers were cheesy, juicy, double-patty tower of joy, sandwiched between two golden, sesame-seed buns that were slightly toasted (and slightly aggressive with their cheese oozing out,, nope, not complaining 😁)
Alongside came fries,, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, the way fries are meant to be.. Ketchup was generously included, because they know you’re not here to be polite,, you’re here to dip and devour 😄
Also, shoutout to the Pepsi bottle that stood by like a loyal sidekick. You need that fizzy support when you’re battling a cheese volcano...
So next time I find myself grocery shopping with an empty stomach and I'll look for a bright orange snack house with the words NAMIT BURGER glowing at me,, 😊
It’s not just a burger. It’s a lifestyle detour. An affordable one, too,, just as low as ₱85 ($1.50) for a satisfying plate of joy...
😋 We came for groceries.
We left with full stomachs and probably forgot to buy soy sauce 😆... but it's worth it.
