What’s better than a serene walk in the woods? Adding a flower and a little bit of adventure to the mix 😁
let me tell you, it was like stepping into a dream. My friend had told me about a new spot in town,, a man-made forest. I was intrigued and after hearing how serene and beautiful it was, I decided to visit. The cherry on top? My trusty sidekick for the day,, my niece 🥰
Location: San Miguel, Jordan
The forest was only a few kilometers from home, so we decided to make it a mini adventure. As soon as we stepped in, I couldn’t help but notice the caretakers tidying up, sweeping leaves and ensuring the place was spotless. Honestly, I’ve never seen such neat trees! Tall, straight, and perfectly aligned, it looked like they were all lined up for a family photo.

The best part? The atmosphere. It felt so peaceful, almost like nature was giving us a hug. Some trees were still young, showing off their fresh green leaves, while the older ones stood tall with pride. The forest was clearly well-maintained, and I felt like we had just found a hidden gem.
As we strolled deeper, we saw a few tourists taking photos, enjoying the calm, and breathing in the fresh air. Naturally, I waited for the crowd to thin out before snapping some pictures myself. Patience is key, right? And I’m glad I did,, just look at how these shots turned out.. 😊
Then, there was my niece, the true star of the day. While I was admiring the view, she picked a flower and without hesitation, tucked it behind her ear. “Look, I’m Moana” 😄 she exclaimed with that proud little smile of hers. I had to laugh. Who can resist the charm of a child imagining themselves as a princess in the middle of a beautiful forest?

We spent the afternoon wandering, with the sun filtering through the leaves above. There were moments of complete silence, just the rustling of leaves and our footsteps on the forest path. It was a perfect escape from the chaos of everyday life, and I found myself not wanting to leave.

It turns out, this man-made forest isn’t just about trees,, it’s about creating a peaceful space where nature, imagination, and memories can grow. So, if you're ever in the area, definitely check it out. Trust me, you won't regret it.
Here are pictures of a yellow butterfly we found near the forest entrance..
