I was just finishing up all my chores and staring at my long to-do list, feeling totally wiped out.. But then, I opened the door and heard all that chattering 😊
What a great surprise!! I saw my daughter holding her little cousin while giggling.. 😁
My sister dropped off my little niece, because she had a lot of classes to finish and no one was looking after her youngest..
You know,, sometimes a surprise little person is exactly what you need to forget about work 😁
We needed to entertain her right away,, so we brought out the new bubble machine.. Best idea ever,,

She absolutely went crazy for the bubbles.. She was reaching up with both hands and laughing so hard... 😍

You could see the joy on her face, even as the little soapy circles were landing and popping on her hair and getting her face a little wet.. It was pure, unfiltered happiness.. 💙
After all that running and jumping around in the yard, we were all starving.. We decided to take a break for some serious treats.. We pulled out a big container of ice cream with all those bright colors,, yellow, orange, purple and chocolate,, and some bread to go with it.. 😋

Naturally, it got a little messy,, She ended up with a cute smudge of chocolate right above her lip and she gave us this cheeky, squinty-eyed smile that made us all laugh.. 😁
Once her tummy was full and she was winding down,, it was time for the best part.. She loves her uncle.. She crawled right onto him for a big cuddle..

She was holding her favorite stuffed toy (which she named Ami) and he was holding her.. It was such a sweet, cozy end to a super active afternoon.
So yeah, my day ended up being way more fun than I planned,, all thanks to a little girl and a bubble machine.. 😁
