Hoy quiero compartirles las tareas que realicé este fin de semana en mi casa con motivo de la remodelación y restauración de las paredes y el techo.

Today I want to share with you the work I completed this weekend at my home, remodeling and restoring the walls and ceiling.
¡Ah, el querido techo que tanto me gusta estar! Es increíble la cantidad de veces que subo y bajo, no dándome cuenta el terror que le tengo. Pero creo que al tener que hacerlo, no me queda otra que superar ese miedo y subir.
Acá lo que hice fue hacer una limpieza profunda con hidrolavadora de todo el sector del techo que da al lavadero de la casa. Luego le aplique unas tres capas de membrana líquida y por supuesto reparé los sectores donde había grietas.
Ah, the beloved roof I love so much! It's incredible how many times I go up and down, not realizing how terrified I am of it. But I think that once I have to do it, I have no choice but to overcome that fear and go up.
What I did here was do a deep cleaning with a pressure washer of the entire section of the roof that overlooks the house's laundry room. Then I applied about three coats of liquid membrane and, of course, repaired the areas where there were cracks.
Mientras comenzaba a hacer algunas tareas internas en las paredes, mi hermano aprovechó el andamio y comenzó a cortar los ligustres del vecino que daban a mi casa. Casi siempre hacemos esta tarea antes de que comience la primavera, porque tiene un fruto y flores redonditas naranjas que, cuando caen al patio, parecen pelotitas y son peligrosas si andas con un calzado no adecuado para caminar por allí. Así que preferimos prevenir y no llorar luego. 😁
While I was starting to do some interior work on the walls, my brother took advantage of the scaffolding and began cutting down the neighbor's privet trees that faced my house. We almost always do this task before spring begins, because it has round orange fruit and flowers that, when they fall into the yard, look like little balls and are dangerous if you're wearing shoes that aren't suitable for walking there. So we prefer to be safe than sorry. 😁
Y, por último, quedan las paredes del garaje del jardín. Aquí aún no decidimos con mi hermano qué tipo de reparación o pintura vamos a realizar. Tenemos varios planes como poner el día de mañana alguna pantalla para un proyector o quizá un quincho para comer allí cuando no queramos estar en el calor del verano adentro de la casa. Hay muchas ideas a implementar. Pronto decidiremos cuáles se aplican y, por supuesto, los compartiré con todos ustedes.

And finally, there are the walls of the garden garage. My brother and I haven't yet decided what kind of repairs or painting we'll do. We have several plans, such as putting up a screen for a projector sometime in the future, or perhaps a barbecue area where we can eat when we don't want to be inside in the summer heat. There are many ideas to implement. We'll decide which ones to implement soon, and of course, I'll share them with all of you.
