Durante mi estadía en el Control de Accesos de los ministerios de Argentina, yo estaba a cargo de la confección de las credenciales. Estas eran de un material magnético, pesado y de plástico duro. Eran las primeras que se usaron a principios de los 2000.
En el Ministerio de Agricultura había una celebridad. Era un gato llamado Santiago. Todo el edificio lo conocía y la gente de otros edificios también. Cada vez que venían de visita, preguntaban por "Santiago". Un día se me ocurrió hacerle un grupo de fans en Facebook (muy utilizado en esos años) y se volvió un éxito teniendo miles y miles de seguidores. Luego llegó el turno de hacerle su propia credencial de ingreso y le diseñé esta.
¡Durante mucho tiempo estuvo en la vitrina del ingreso al edificio de Paseo Colón 922 y a la gente le encantó! No podían creer que el gatito tenía también su credencial personalizada, pero todos estaban de acuerdo con que se lo merecía. Santiago, un gato diferente. 😸❤️

During my time working in Access Control for the ministries of Argentina, I was in charge of making the access badges. They were made of a heavy, hard plastic magnetic material. They were the first ones used in the early 2000s.
At the Ministry of Agriculture, there was a celebrity. It was a cat named Santiago. Everyone in the building knew him, and people from other buildings did too. Every time they came to visit, they would ask for "Santiago." One day, I had the idea to create a Facebook fan group for him (very popular in those years), and it became a huge success with thousands and thousands of followers. Then it was time to make him his own access badge, and I designed this one.
For a long time, it was displayed in the glass case at the entrance to the building at Paseo Colón 922, and people loved it! They couldn't believe that the kitty also had his own personalized badge, but everyone agreed that he deserved it. Santiago, a truly unique cat. 😸❤️
