Today I want to continue painting my house a little longer.
Sí, reconozco que no me cuido mucho, que digamos, con la pintura cuando pinto. Soy de esos que termino yo más pintado que las paredes, pero bueno, le pongo ganas siempre.
Arrancamos tempranito, así no nos agarraba el sol de lleno. Con unos ricos y calientes mates cebados por mi padre, comencé a pintar.
Yes, I admit I don't take much care with my paint when I paint. I'm one of those people who ends up more painted than the walls, but hey, I always put effort into it.
We started early so the sun wouldn't hit us directly. With some delicious, hot mates prepared by my father, I began to paint.
Mientras yo me encargaba de esta enorme pared, mi hermano se encargó de limpiar y rascar la pared vieja, así me dejaba la superficie limpia para unas cuantas manos de pintura blanca. Haciendo equipo entre los dos, logramos terminar todo en apenas 3 días.
Si bien tengo terror a las alturas, no lo tengo cuando estoy en una escalera. Así que no la pasé tan mal. Abajo mío, siempre estaba mirándome mi gato Bartolo, que no quitaba la mirada de mí y hasta maullaba pidiendo que baje. 😁
While I was working on this huge wall, my brother cleaned and scraped the old wall, leaving me with a clean surface for a few coats of white paint. Working together, we managed to finish the whole thing in just three days.
Although I'm terrified of heights, I'm not terrified of ladders. So I didn't have such a bad time. Below me, my cat Bartolo was always watching me, staring at me and even meowing to get me down. 😁
Casi cuando termina la luz del día es que finalizamos la tarea entre mi hermano y yo. Ya solo queda mucho menos paredes y sectores que reparar. Quizás dejemos para el próximo verano una pared grande, ya que calculé mal la cantidad de pintura y me va a faltar bastante. Pero bueno, eso para más adelante. Ahora a limpiar todo.
My brother and I are almost finished with the task. There are only a few more walls and areas left to repair. Maybe we'll leave one large wall for next summer, since I miscalculated the amount of paint and will be short on a lot. But anyway, that's for later. Now it's time to clean everything up.
Y para terminar, a limpiar las herramientas que usamos para poder volver a utilizarlas en próximos trabajos. Acá quien se encarga de esto es el especialista de mi papá que las deja como si fueran nuevas y sin uso.

And finally, let's clean the tools we use so we can reuse them for future jobs. My dad's specialist is in charge of this here, and he leaves them looking like new and unused.
