When word went out, everyone was shocked. "What do they mean they want to impeach the deputy president?" we wondered. To what cause is he being dragged out of the office, in full daylight, denying him the dignity of finishing his term?
Petitions were signed. They had to ostracize the ostrich. He had to go. There was no room for him in the state house.
Funny! His charges read: corrupt, abuse of power, gross misconduct! Motion was passed. He was 'thrown to the wolves'.
Funny and Ironical! The same impeachers are guilty of the same charges. Yet they chose to victimize one of their own. A sacrificial lamb to blind the whole nation.
Strange times. We point fingers at others, blind to the mirror that reflects our own sins.
