Hello my dear Hive friends! ๐ Wishing you all well and good health ๐
This weekโs challenge is a great concept that broadens our perspective on the world. The goal of this challenge is to capture the lovely and frequently unexpected realm of reflections, and I was inspired by our own house, which is where I least expected to find it.

I wasn't sure what to do when I first read this challenge. That afternoon's weather was a little dreary, so I wasn't instantly able to come up with any intriguing reflections. I assumed that finding a good shot would need me to travel to a unique location. However, I paused and simply surveyed inside our home. I came to the realization that there are reflections everywhere, even on the things we like to ignore.

Our house turned into a treasure hunt the moment I really began to look for it. First, I discovered thereโs a mirror at the corner which I was really unaware of. That mirror reflected our old display cabinet which was an opportunity to capture another reflection because itโs a wooden cabinet with glass doors.

---
Thereโs a softer reflection on the glass of our cabinet, and a more polished one on the built-in mirror in our closet. The door reflected on the mirror from the closet leads to our bathroom, where I took photo of the plastic mirror we had inside.

---
I also noticed that the dark glass of our screen door can reflect objects like the plastic bench. Even the mirror glass window provided a clear image of our roof covered with insulation foam.

And before I opened my computer to write this blog, I took a photo of myself reflected by the monitors I always use. I was amazed at how many reflective surfaces I was around by every day, but I never really paid attention.

This challenge transformed from a straightforward photography exercise into a peaceful moment for reflection on a gloomy day. It simply reminded me that even when everything else appears a little dull, there are beautiful things in front of us.

I learned from this experience to pay closer attention to the small details and everyday objects that we often take for granted. I gained a fresh perspective and a greater appreciation for the things around me simply by pausing to observe ๐
