Here we are another day in the wild of Africa enjoying the sounds of all them wild animals roaming around all eager to hunt or be hunted by the next predator what caught my eye on this adventures day was the almost cute Jackal but don't let your eyes deceive you these Jackals are very clever, swift and cunning they may look like a domestic dog but are far from it.
Jackal are more know to hunt down small mammals like birds, insects and reptiles but can also survive on fruits and plants they are very fast runners getting up to speeds of just over 50 km/h and like Hyenas whom live in packs the Jackals like to live in pairs or small family groups raising there little ones.

The equipment used was all Nikon. Early shots with a D70, later shots with 2 x D3 bodies.
