Another day out on our Safari Tour this time tracking down these amazing Hippopotamus in there natural habitat swelling around in the rivers keeping themselves cool and entertained they are one of the largest and strongest animals in the world they can weigh up to 1,800 kg and get up to speeds of 30 km/h

The equipment used was all Nikon. Early shots with a D70, later shots with 2 x D3 bodies.
