Los monstruos del equipo Agua reúne distintos habitantes, desde las profundidades del mar hasta los terrestres y voladores. Así como Sea Genie o Genio de los océanos. Este personaje de seguro se le hizo conocido a muchos, así como a mí. Recuerdo que al inicio estaba entre mis cartas favoritas. Mas aún, cuando lo jugaba con el invocador de Magia. Quien le daba un aumento en su ataque de magia. Ahora estoy muy alegre porque decidí dibujarlo. Con él sigo practicando la perspectiva y las texturas que le puedo dar con tinta. Esto lo hice porque el personaje lleva tonos de azules y es del tipo agua. Entre las ideas que tenía en mente estaban que sea un niño juguetón, es decir un genio aprendiz y desobediente. También que estuviese alegre por aprender a levitar para dominar esta técnica y así convertirse en un Genio...Cosas mías, jaja. >*I started with a blue sketch. I also wanted him to be excited about learning to levitate so he could master this technique and become a Genie... Just my ideas, jaja.*  Y llegó el momento de ponerle tinta. Empecé de arriba hacia abajo, esto lo hago para evitar manchar la hoja con la tinta. Aunque, con esta tinta aún no me ha pasado eso, con otras tintas sí me pasaba. Creo que la expresión del rostro es parte importante del personaje. Por otro lado, el Turbante al ser de color blanco, hice que resaltara porque no llevaría texturas, solo los pliegues de la tela. >*Then it was time to add ink. Supuestamente está en una transición entre humano y Genio o algo así. Esta formación lo llevan quienes tienen como padres a genios y humanos o si son huérfanos. This applies to both the turban band and his vest. The lamp appears.*   Ahora vamos por el cabello. Esta parte sigue siendo entretenida para mí. El estilo de sus zapatillas son las clásicas, esas que usan los niños "citadinos" o de las ciudades. Luego, terminé de darle sombra a los cabellos y pinté la otra zapatilla. I also added shading to the eyes.*  Según sé, los genios sale de una lámpara y Sea Genio no es la excepción… A menos que sea un Genio humano, ellos sí salen de su hogar. En sí este dibujo tiene un aspecto de ondas, representando la calidez emitido por las lámparas. Antes que Genio saliera, hay como un ambiente caluroso, como de aire caliente. Y mediante estas líneas "serpenteantes" alrededor de Genio, quise plasmar eso. >*As far I know, genies come out of lamps, and Sea Genie is no exception... Genio lleva un pantalón con espirales, para indicar que está en una formación para ser Genio. Además, esto le ayuda a mimetizarse con el ambiente caluroso de la lámpara. Seguí agregando sombras en los lugares que creía necesario, como los zapatos, la lámpara y el turbante. También, agregué la proyección de su propia sombra en el suelo. >*In this picture, you can see more details of the winding waves and the different textures of her clothing. I continued adding shadows where I thought they were needed, such as on the shoes, the lamp, and the turban. I also added the projection of his own shadow on the soil.*  Así como inicié el boceto con azul, quise terminar dándole énfasis al azul. Como para evitar confundirlo con otros genios. Esta vez, estaba a punto de agregarle colores para que el personaje se pareciera aún más. Sobre todo en las partes que no lleva texturas como el rostro, las orejas y el cuerpo. Pero, por otro lado quería ver cómo se notaría así, con un color (el azul) y el negro de la tinta. Para resaltar las texturas hechas a tinta. Aunque, creo que en los ojos sí le faltó agregarle más sombras. De todas maneras, Genio es uno de los dibujos que más me agradan, ya sea por la historia que le agregué y por el entintado que utilicé. >*Just as I began the sketch with blue, I wanted to finish it by emphasizing blue.
