One day before the Christmas Eve, we were randomly browsing to see if we could find some place to rent and go out of town for a night, cook some food, have dinner, gather, and mingle among friends. And bam! We found this place called Beloved Cottage.
In the photo, it looked kind of crazy, surrounded by a garden, with the cottage appearing quite weird and interesting, right? I was even wondering if it was actually real or would look the same when we got there. We ended up renting the place from early morning on Christmas Eve until the next night.
There were 5 to 7 of us, depending on the time of day. People came and went, but we were surely cooking, having fun, and hanging out with friends. At the dinner, we had quite a few dishes: roasted vegetables, grilled chicken which turned out to be not actually a chicken but more like a rooster #lol, lamb leg, some gravy, and chicken wings and ribs for an appetizer at first.
The meal was lovely, and you wouldn't believe how lovely it looked and that it's actually real. The garden out front, the cottage itself, all just a 30-minute drive from Chiang Mai city. It was kind of crazy, and I think we were so lucky to have found this place at the last minute and that it was available.
The owner took really good care of us. He even provided the prop, which was the Christmas tree during the stay making it even more perfect for IG pics :D
We're plan on having this as our wedding venue even.. oof.
