Floral cafe @Napasorn is another cute unique little place just in Bangkok Old Town. My Thai friend who lives in the area brought us there as she think it was unique enough and worth our once-a-month meetup to visit there.
We were already in the old town area and we felt like some great dessert and delicious drinks so there we go, the Floral cafe. It's not just a regular cafe with just coffee and tables. It's a little more than that...
First, a chubby cat was laying there welcoming customers. That was our first impression of the place !
From the name, you may already be able to guess it's 2 main things combined. Downstair is a flower shop offering variety of fresh and dry flowers with beautiful packaging or bouquets. and upstair is a cafe, a very cute and unique cafe. They also use all the pretty and colorful flowers to decorate throughout the place on all levels (it got 3 floors!). Vintage theme with a lot of cute corners for photos so if you're those who do cafe hopping just for the photos, this is sure a place you should visit at least once.
Me, not going nowhere just for the photos so let's dive into a dessert and a cup of this delicious drink..
We got a few cold chocolate drinks as my friend who came here already liked and recommended it a lot. Good choice indeed. It's dark and intense chocolate flavor decorated with milk foam and mint of top. Real pretty, real delicioso!
For dessert, we double our chocolate dose with this chocolate fudge cake that's topped with some dry cherries and a dry rose. Not just looks good but tastes great! Very rich and moist though not too heavy. Everything all together almost melt in the mouth with that super chocolatey taste, now you imagine how heavenly that is.
Good dessert and drink with such unique decoration. I sure recommend you visit Floral cafe @Napasorn if you ever pass by Bangkok. It's also around China town area so might as well wait a bit for the Chinatown night food market afterward. That would make it even more worth a visit.
