Hello all! The skatehive team is sharing with you their closed-loop system of buying and selling of skateboarding equipment with Hive/HBD.
We hopped on a bus and traveled to Sao Paulo. I have seen so much from Bless skateshop on Hive and was beyond stoked to get to meet the guys there.
A few weeks prior, we gave @starkerz a call to ask about how the @hivedebit card, and @distriator works.
Bless is a skateshop/barbershop. Our first day there we bought some clothes. I really wanted to buy a haircut but I am glad @vaipraonde got to do that, the second night we visited them.
We went to go skate the DIY spot right by the shop and I am working on the edit for that right now. One thing at a time! there is so much content from this point in time its really hard to organize it all.
Bless gives a 20% discount on all the goods in the shop if you pay with hive just to stimulate the use of Hive. Patrons can then use Distriator to further earn money back on what they buy.
there is a computer in the shop that is for onboarding people to skatehive, and teaching people how to write hive posts.
We really created a lot of buzz that night and some OG skaters who were in the shop were very interested in skatehive and how it all works.
Its a beautiful little shop in a great location in Sao Paulo. We returned to Bless another night because I needed a new board. We also met with @vaipraonde to make sure we knew how to use the hive debit card system. That episode will come out soon.
Skatehive is one of the only communities on hive that can tout a "closed-loop-system" of buying stuff with Hive -> using the stuff to create content on hive -> earn more hive with the content -> buying more stuff with hive -> ect.
