Whatever it is you want to achieve... If you want to make a sculpture, learn a skill, build a house or start a business... All you have to do is do the work. Stay consistent and do the work for a long time and you'll get it.

Get rid of distractions
Social media
I'm of the opinion that the biggest distraction we face today is social media.
It's brain draining, attention hogging invention engineered to keep you away from doing actual work.
Our parents and grandparents got through life just fine without checking 6 social media apps all day.
DMs are a distraction.
I only really use instant messages with my work team and close family members. Notifications are off and everybody else must wait.
Why am I talking about this?
One of the main reasons I'm writing this post is because on September 10th, 2022 I set a very specific Hive Power goal for myself and I'm holding myself accountable. The plan is to have reached 200,000 Hive Power by October 2029 or around 236,530 Hive Power on December 31, 2029.
Today is not an official update of my journey, but I'll give you the stats. Today is day 1102/2671 my progress is 41.26% and I'm -19.59% from my target.
The reasons for doing this are
Being part of a parallel communication and value exchange protocol
In the Hive ecosystem, everybody has a vote; Everybody. Some with small stake have a small vote and some with huge stake have a large vote. I believe it's imperative that there's a large number of middle-class users that vote for witnesses, DHF proposals and participate in curation.
Financial
Hive is still maturing as an ecosystem and is incredibly undervalued. I'm happy to earn and buy as much $HIVE as I can right now because I think a fair price for the token is somewhere between $2 and $20, but definitely not $0.20.
