Their culture, their customs

Indigenous graphics are a form of ancestral body painting for spiritual protection, made from a fruit, the Jenipapo. The fruit juice oxidizes when it comes into contact with the skin, giving it that bluish hue

Jenipapo is a fruit native to South America, known for its traditional use in skin dyes, liqueur, and juices. The unripe fruit contains a substance (genipin) that turns into a dark blue dye that turns black when exposed to air. Its name, from the Tupi-Guarani language, means "fruit used for painting." The ripe pulp is edible, aromatic, and can be used to make juices, sweets, and syrups. It also has medicinal properties, such as aiding in the treatment of anemia and aiding digestion
