It’s been almost a week since my last post. I had today off since I worked on Sunday, so we headed out pretty early this morning. Dude got super excited when he noticed that I put my workout clothes on and went and got his harness. He kept following me around the house, as if he was afraid I’d go without him if he wasn’t close to me so I could see him. It was sunny, but a little bit chilly… in my opinion it was perfect for a walk.
As you can see…. Summer is slowly coming to an end.
Saw a couple of turtles in the pond, but they were very shy and did not want their picture taken. The pond is a lot smaller than a couple of weeks ago, we haven’t had much rain lately.
Beautiful spruce cones… they are called that, right? Cause it’s not a pine, it’s a spruce.
We did 5 kilometers and scored an #AutomaticWin
Later we filled up my car with scrap metal from our old washer, dryer and dishwasher and took it to the metal recycling. They paid us $21.00 for it. Got money for take out from our local BBQ take out restaurant. They make jummy food, all local produce and prepared in their restaurant. Delicious baby back ribs.
Laundry basket was filled to the brim and then some, so got all the laundry done.
Had time for some relaxing and knitting as well.
