Hello Hive family, I trust our day has been great. So it’s day two of my five-day raw food challenge, and honestly, I’m adapting better than I thought! Yes, I already miss cooked food, but I’m not backing out.
This morning, I woke up feeling lighter and with a much-improved mood. I guess the benefits of this journey aren’t just a fallacy. As usual, I started the day with a glass of water. A few minutes later, I headed to the toilet and felt so relieved as I emptied my bowels freely.
That made me really happy, especially because last night I had to take one of my opioids that usually causes constipation. I had certain expectations for this challenge, and I’m glad I wasn’t disappointed.
After that, I felt even lighter and energized. For breakfast, while everyone else had cereal, I enjoyed my pawpaw, pear 🍐, and guava fruit salad. To top it off, I paired it with my all-time favorite Ginger Xclusive healthy drink. I was especially glad because it was recently vivid descriped on https://ecency.com/hive-124452/@omoomowess01/loh-contest-254-bringing-my of my Zobo Xclusive drink yesterday, so you can imagine just how power-packed this ginger drink is!
For lunch, I simply snacked on sesame seeds, groundnuts, and cashew nuts. The aroma of cooked food from the kitchen came again, but unlike yesterday, it didn’t affect me as much.
Dinner was a refreshing bowl of pineapple, cucumber, beetroot, and apple with a touch of ginger smoothie, served with raw plantain. Because I ate dinner quite early, I had a backup plan to make some vegetable salad in case hunger crept in. Surprisingly, the smoothie and plantain were so filling that I couldn’t even finish them alone—my girls happily helped me out.
And just like that, day two was done successfully! I’m looking forward to day three. I’ll keep you posted, family, though I don’t want to raise my expectations too high, especially after how I felt this morning.
Thanks for stopping by. See you tomorrow for my day three update. Stay blessed! ✨
