Good morning, beautiful people of the @hive family. It’s a cold, calm, and refreshing morning from my end.
I woke up today feeling like Christmas is just 24 hours away. You know that special feeling that comes with the season? I felt it this morning, especially with the cool and refreshing harmattan breeze.
Everywhere on my bed was cold, except for the spot where I lay. I had to adequately cover up as I watched the gentle breeze blowing through my window.
Funny enough, it felt pretty warm last night, only for me to wake up to this cool, Christmas-like harmattan morning. Well, I think I expected it because we had a brief shower of rain two days ago.
My mom always says that when the rains are gone and a sudden shower comes, it’s a sign that another season is about to begin.
I guess she was right, because that rain must have ushered in the harmattan breeze. And now, everything feels so refreshing; it truly smells like Christmas, even though Christmas is still more than a month away.
Meanwhile, our chicks are doing great. They’re three weeks old now and growing fast, part of our Christmas preparations, of course! (They’ll be ready for the pots by Christmas, lol.)
Christmas is such a beautiful season. It carries this magic and spark that brings families together, a time for love, laughter, and, of course, plenty of food (my favourite part!). I honestly can’t wait for Christmas to arrive.
